Places you have visited while having an OBE

Nope... I hold no desire to project into this physical world.
I spend 2/3rds of my life here.  I don't want to waste my limited non-physical time here too.

Oh, I don't choose... not yet, at least.  LoL

However, I generally don't project into the RTZ... straight up Astral for me.
I do it with Phasing.

Well how can I decide where to project...

It's probably best to first try a location your familiar with and have a connection with. Then it's simply a matter of firmly placing your intent on being there. You can do it with your mind, or scream out loud "I'm going to _____ now!", or ask and see what happens. I've had crazy things happen by simply asking... to the point I'm careful what I ask for.

The most amazing place i have been was this golden city sitting ontop of the clouds with a bright orange sun behind it. Light radiating off of the gold building. It was amazing

last night I went to this strange mall that I remember visiting about a year ago, every detail was exactly the same. Then I ran into someone who was there the last time.  That was weird.

Maybe It was a lucid dream?or maybe that person was created by your mind?Like you were expecting to see him there?

How so? To me there isn't enough info to go off of because she didn't specify the degree of awareness she had or if she knew of her separate, physical life.

Anyway, I haven't been to visually exotic places yet and although I've felt experiences that were certainly exotic describing them would make them appear mundane.

I don't see why it couldn't be an OBE. I've projected to places that looked the same as their physical counterparts complete with people that "belong" in those environments. I knew I was out of body because I had full awareness and knowledge of my physical life. If she feels the same about her experience then she projected.. somewhere. Where to is another question. Maybe the etheral planes, maybe a parallel world, maybe a plane that roughly reflects the past of this world, maybe all 3, who knows?

I was going to say something earlier but I was enjoying this speculation too much  actually it was just a lucid dream & I prolly shouldn't have posted it in this thread but it was heavy on my mind that day. The only place I tend to visit a lot (in lucid dreams) is the place I grew up in or places I have lived. This strange mall is not a place I have ever been to in real life. It's very unusual with specific details. I am just confused why I would return to it and have this weirdo stalker find me there again...anyway, carry on.

Ive only became lucid once in a shopping mall and it kind of modeled the one im familiar with but also there were differences, would you consider that being on the planes?

I once became lucid in an american style mall. I found a entrance there into to some cave like passageways that led to a place I think was called the temple of the running monkey(might have been cunning or something else ending in unning).

There was a big stone thing in the middle of the temple that transported me to a planet that was covered in trees as far as I could see. I couldnt fly there but gravity was really low and I was like running/bouncing across the tree tops down the side of a mountain. I'd love to go back there.

EDIT: I just remembered. I found another temple on the tree planet that took me somewhere else. That might have been the temple that had the name I mentioned. I cant believe I didnt write this all down at the time.

A couple quick points.
I too have projected to a mall. It was some kind of BST and I'm actually a bit surprised that more people don't visit malls while OOB seeing how popular malls have become (ingrained into the American way of life so to speak).
Regarding unusual and/or exotic locations visited OOB see my last OBE report "OBE Magical History Book" (in the Out of Body Experiences Forum). That was a visit to either a BST or an alternate universe. (don't know which?)!

I had an LD in an outdoor shopping mall / park area a couple of weeks ago. I became lucid after myself and a guy I don't know got in a space ship and after a second or 2 we opened our eyes and were in a dark tunnel with lots of dead animals on the floor, it was obviously not pleasant as we had to step over them by the light on my mobile phone.  Then I became lucid and said to the guy that we don't have to be here coz we're only dreaming, so I requested to leave and came to a door, we opened it into this shopping area.  Lots of women were shopping and it was a lovely sunny day.  I had a negative thought about one of the women (can't remember what it was, don't think I liked her dress or something!) and she came over to me as she felt the thought and wanted me to take the negative bit of energy back.  She was a bit annoyed but then realised we were not from around there and asked where we had come from.  A few more wormen had come over and so we all sat at a picnic table in the park and I told them we were from the 3rd dimension.  They had no idea what I was talking about.  So I tried to explain it and also get an idea as to where we were exactly but as they had no concept of different dimensions / planes then they couldn't explain where we were.  Then we decided to leave and got back to our spaceship and that was the end of the LD.  Pretty interesting I thought.
