I'm still unsure where the line is between dreams and the astral, but considering the content, I'm gonna stick it here and roll with it.

Because I try to be critical with my experiences, it takes a lot for me to believe I am picking up outside information while I'm in the dream world/astral realm. Especially when it comes to learning facts that I didn't already know. This includes possible past lives, which could really be put into its own subject.

I was in a lucid dream a few nights ago... I was at a camp I used to work at doing an activity with the kids or staff. I turned back to my chair and noticed that it was suddenly much larger. It was at that moment I realized that I was suddenly a fox and now I was too short to just plop my butt down in the chair like I had been hoping to do. After an incredibly brief moment of disappointment, I decided I wanted to go somewhere else entirely. I shifted to a new area. I didn't feel like I had moved at all, but just by willing it I was suddenly somewhere else. Imagine the area around fading into a different location. Suddenly curious what the symbolism of fish meant in China (not the character for the word, but when you see a fish decoration up, what it represents), I decided to look it up, not seeing the point of waking up to do it. I read that it meant wealth and specifically I remember "economy" written.

I remembered later in the day and asked. They were surprised I had "guessed" the correct answer. I told them I looked it up in my dream and they were like "wft?!" Haha, it was pretty funny.

I'm assuming that this can be pretty common with projecting and such? But at the same time, I understand the potential for my subconscious to pick up the meaning in my waking life at some point without my conscious knowing. Fascinating regardless.
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

Yes very fascinating indeed. This kind of experience would have been very helpful while i was still in school, lol. I believe our brains get overloaded with things to remember so we forget much of what we learned until it randomly comes flying into our thoughts (or dreams).

Very interesting dream. I enjoyed it very much.  Thanks for sharing.

Oh ChapstickFox... you are receiving data and personal conformation of psi. Nice.

Precognition and learning that which you couldn't know through normal physical action is a by-product of your experience of non-physical awareness and searching into the bigger picture of reality.

Well done.
