Recently I've seen a Guide who looks like Stephen Fry. I wonder how Guides appear to you? How do they behave? What do they wear? Do they change appearance from time to time?

This is a picture of Fry, but to me he gives the impression to be 20 years older and wears a black suit, white shirt and black butterfly in the style of the Jeeves character. i think he wants me to ask questions, the _right_ questions. :)

that's really odd that he looks like this character. Maybe you created him?

I haven't met any guide-like entities yet... I'll probably try to tonight but whenever I ask I'm always greeted by rude beings.

What was your interaction with this character and how did you conclude it was a guide?

I do not recall ever seeing a 'guide' in the astral realm. I have asked numerous times and while I am usually transported to some other 'place' immediately upon asking, these guides just seem to remain incognito for me.
(Now, please excuse me while I self observe a bit and try to deal with this wave of Envy welling up in my emotional body).

If u meet rude (or bad) beings, send them PUL, lots of PUL, and wait and see. They may transform into something helpful.

This was after a retrieval of a White-Collar-Man.

Yes, I've had the same 30-something looking woman appear several times when I'm in F3 who says that she's "Anna" (which a psychic friend said was one of my guides). She usually has good advice so could be a legitimate.

However, 99% of the time when I ask to speak to a guide nothing happens or I end up speaking to a blithering idiot/one-dimensional dream character. So I've concluded I only GET a guide when I NEED one (like if I'm distressed about something or need to change course).

A few weeks ago I had a rare negative encounter with a being that kinda freaked me out and just as I came awake I clearly heard her say "anytime you feel under attack ask for Charlie (my other guide) for help and he will join his energy with yours." Interesting advice and even more interesting was that I was awake when I heard it. First time that's happened.

My conclusion in the lack of guides showing up when requested is that I'm a big girl and supposed to figure it out on my own rather than have someone tell me what to do. Either that or my vibration isn't high enough to clearly communicate with them.

There's this lady who takes the form of a family friend. She was in a lot of my early lucid dreams when I was trying to fly and whatnot. I asked her what her job was once and she said "Director of Teaching."

I'm sorry to break it to you but if you saw a character that looked like Stephen Fry, it wasn't a guide...it was an archetype... :-D

The exaggerated features, the distortions, the cartoon-like expressions...yep! Fry looks like an archetype. Perhaps the archetypal being you saw was representative of a blueprint for an aspect of your personality or a behavioural modality subliminally translated to you in that altered state. 8-)

Hmmm...it could even give rise to a fully-fledged alter-ego if you give it too much PUL...

Be careful! :-D

I once saw a guide that looked like Jackie Chan.  :-D
He was very calm and kind and walked by my side with his arm around my shoulder.

Have you seen the animation where Jackie Chan projects? Maybe it was really him! :-D

It could've been a guide percieved as an archetype. The energy the being emanates is a better indentifier than appearance, methinks.

Or it could have been a demon disguised as a guide...
