I've actually had similar experiences of the void when I would be woken prior to me getting up by someone coming into my room to get the dawg.

As for the OBE/lucid dream thing, I've been told that if you have any doubts then its most probably a lucid dream.

I'd suggest the girl and window is most definetly symbolic of something... but who knows.

I suggest posting it on the OBE forum to ask some of the travellers there as they will most likely be able to give you an idea as to whether it was a lucid dream or an OBE.

This is something I've experienced, but I don't know if it was an OBE or a dream. It's weird, but true. If anyone can help me understand it, I'd be appreciative. It happened a few years ago in May.  These were the days when I had to wake up to an alarm clock. It's so difficult for me to wake up, since I love sleep so much. So, the alarm goes off, and I hit the snooze button for ten more minutes.     ...I found myself in complete darkness. I'm pretty sure that it was blindness, or a void.  A female spirit came to me. She was full of joy and laughter. She told me that she had just died. It seemed so weird how she just said it like it didn't even matter -like irrelevant.  We talked while floating in the air and laughed. This next part is even a little more strange. She let me experience what it was like to be her. For a moment I felt like two people at the same time.  I caught a glimpse of a few of her memories. I saw her father and I knew she got good grades at school. She was my age too. These things didn't seem to matter when both of us were feeling complete bliss. It seemed like just seconds went by. I had to go. I began reaching for a window. This was the only visual I had. It didn't look like a real window. The angles were a little obscure, diagonal. Then I heard the annoying noise of the alarm clock, and I woke up to my day. I still don't know if the experience was real, or who she was. However, I'm extremely thankful that it happened and that I met her. It blows my mind!
