Hi Daniel
You sound like a natural! I`d be interested in any advice you might have about Lucid Dreaming. I`ve been having some success but my lucidity doesn`t happen as frequently as I would like. I`m new to this site myself and the people here are knowledgable and very helpful. I`m learning alot!
      Welcome Aboard!

Thanks.  I don't really use a  for tecnique do induce lucid dreaming because as soon as im sleeping i know im dreaming and i choose whether to act on it or play along with the dream, I think its bad for me to be Lucid all the time and that is why i really enjoy it when i have a "normal" dream.  One way of inducing Lucidity I found on a website was to ask yourself if you are dreaming at different times of the day, then hopefully if you do it often enough you will ask yourself in the dream and you will become Lucid, one other way I know of is to read the same bit of text twice, in a dream the text is never the same if read twice.  I did have trouble once because I couldn't tell if I was dreaming, I was wandering around my house asking if i was dreaming and I couldn't find one bit of evidence to prove i was dreaming.

Welcome!  It's wonderful seeing another dreamer on the team! I like your ideas about giving yourself super powers. I've been having lucid dreams now for a few years. I can relate to 'being bored' in them.  However, there are always things to do.  I am also impressed that you mentioned healing others in dreams.  I use to control people, and tell them to do things (because I believed they were my creation in dreams).  ...Now, I've been respecting them as real people.  Anyway, I'll look forward to your posts.  Have you ever tried projecting from a dream?

Danny_Boy

I am not sure what projecting is but i will definitley look it up, I have tried going from a Lucid Dream into an OBE, I'm not exactly sure what happened but I will probally write about it later.  I did kill a few dream charaters, even though it was a lucid dream I only did it as self defense.  I don't bother with the dream charaters much because they are very dull.  I tend to just explore the dream place, I had a Lucid Dream last night so I just went around going into peoples houses and having a look around, they should learn to lock their doors.   :)

Geese, I guess you do go lucid a lot. You have good ideas. I usually fly around, or play with reality (stretching glass, making things melt, etc.).  You've come to the right place if you want to learn about projection.  Robert Bruce has a lot of articles on this site. You can also read all the experiences posted here in the forum.  I got some good advise from Frank on how to project from a dream. After you go lucid, physically stop what you are doing and clear your mind of thoughts and emotions. After everything is still, your dream environment is supposed to fall. Then you should be in an astral environment. I think Bruce's technique is to create a doorway and walk through it. Let me know if you try, ok?

Oh dear I'm such a freak, hehe, I had another Lucid Dream last night and theyre becoming more frequent, I don't mind but being concious in nearly every dream is making me ill I think.  I don't mind too much but my imagination is rubbish, I tend to keep doing the same thing over and over in my Lucid dreams.
Well i have had my rant and i feel a little better.

Well, you must care about your dreams, because you go lucid so often.  So, if you care that much, you can make the effort to try new things.  I came across this problem, although I don't have lucid dreams that often.  I realized a pattern that I have.  After becoming aware of the dream, I just follow a habit, and hardly experiment with things.  So, in waking life I've started a journal of things that I'd like to try. It gets your imagination going. Also, I check out LD sites to get ideas from other people.   ... I believe that this ability  opens you up to other phenominon.  Projections and LDs go hand in hand.

Hi my name is Daniel and I am 17, I have been a Lucid Dreamer longer than i can remember, Only in the last 2 years I have realised that Lucid Dreaming is special (special to me anyway) This is the first place I have found that has people with the ability to Lucid dream. I am not a very creative person and I sometimes get very bored in my Lucid dreams so i carry on with the "story" sometimes. In my dreams I levetate, use magic, heal dream charaters, im invincible so if im shot or something it doesn't affect me and i can change the dream landscape. I am very eager to share my experiences and learn from other peoples.  70% of my dreams I know I'm dreaming but i only act on half of them because I find normal dreams fun, but i do use my "powers" of levetation and such to my advantage.
