First of all,I thought there were people at this forum who dealed in this sort of thing. Have you checked the very earliest topics/threads in Psychic Self Defense?

I hestitate mentioning any particular name or group who deals in this. Since this is not where I'm familiar, my ability to refer you to a better source is hindered. However, if you are fairly discerning, I will venture into giving you fragments of ideas based on symbology, and a little bit about possible energy or other imbalance (for no better way of saying it). I am in no way an expert in such as this. I only have a slight essense of understanding in this area. Azrael,your looking for answers, I can only give you a few directions to go. Some of this stuff, I'm still trying to understand too.
Carl Jung has a lot of material that may discuss this very thing. One of these days, I plan to read much more on his work.

Taken from the book, "The 7 Healing Chakras" (Brenda Davies,M.D), is an interesting mention of the neurological connections of the throat chakra:
"pharyngeal plexus, which supplies the throat area, the phargnx, the tongue and the palate. The brachial plexus, which supplies the arms, may also be involved."

I mention this neurological connection because I have done some self healing work in this area. It is a long, but beneficial path to follow toward identifying, and  putting certain things together, to be solved. Her broken arm question to you, made me think of this.If I get more ideas on this connection, I'll say so. By the way, the closet is basic dream symbology. If your interested, I'll look into the various meanings (waking signs and dream symbols are one in the same).

Sorry about the piece work, but it's the only way I can try to give you any possible clues or ideas for you to run with.

I will continue to look at,and post ideas of the dreams you have.Even though, I have a feeling some of this can be figured out by wakeful observation. Too bad that distance is a factor.

If none of this makes sense, I understand. Healing is a very complex thing when dealing with real life health issues.

I normally don't get into nightmares and such. This is a good example of why not to get into such a thing.[]  But, if I can be of any help? Just be direct and tell me if this is not leading you anywhere toward solution.

Whatever other therapies that may be suggested by a professional person, should in no way be replaced or delayed because of any alternative. This really is not a plan, but I have always found that I am the only one who can heal myself. I'm sure it's true for everyone. But, until one has a better plan, it's always good to go with an established plan of care. The alterative plan usually fits in quite nicely. The success will be proven by the results, how it comes about may remain a mystery.

There are many possibilities and routes to take on this. Remember, I may not be the one for helping. In fact, other than working on more dream ideas, I have little more to go on, just because, I don't know either of you. What have you discovered so far?

Here is my friend's take on your dream. I explained things to him, and included your girlfriend's dreams. As mentioned before, take only what may help you, leave what doesn't apply in your way of thinking. But, feel free to discuss the results if you like. []

After reviewing the dreams, I can only say that it is
fairly obvious that he and she have the same
perception about communication.  In his, she slit her
throat and in hers, he shot her in the throat.
Apparently they both think that she doesn't
communicate, but she thinks it's because he won't let
her while he thinks it's because she doesn't want to.

As far as the rest of his dream, his relationship with
this girl has created the abyss of emotion and it is
growing the wrong way and is dead.  Then it is growing
and pushing her into the abyss.  As I read it, he
perceives that he has no future with the girl.

Her dreams indicate that she has many fears and is
having trouble separating the dream activity from
waking reality.  That's about it.

in terms of her dreams, i wasn't the one who shot her in the throat. her ex-boyfriend was the one who shot her in the throat.

When somone dreams of another person it's usually an aspect of the dreamer. The boyfriend in the dream is not actually her boyfriend, it's her perception of something being worked out. She has created this boyfriend for a particular purpose only known to her. He represents himself to her perhaps, but he can just as easily be a face placed to a role or scenerio. He can just be an actor for her. This is why we are own best dream interpreter. Another interpretor can only shed light on things the dreamer may not know about, not her personal message,but more about
different ways dreams work. The truth of a dream message grabs the dreamer. The dreamer knows if any outside ideas don't fit. For instance, she can only use an old boyfriend's image in order to deal with a present dilemma or problem. Things she learned from him may prevent her from making the same mistake now. The old boyfriend may be in disguise. What does she feel about this being possible?

If you want another possibility. There are some who think these other people in dreams are spirit guides. They supposedly help set the scene for the dreamer to learn.

How S interpreted you as the one she experienced shooting her in the neck is one person's opinion on this dream. How dolphins receives this, is what feels right to her. Does she have unresolved issues with this previous boyfriend? Oftentime this is the case. A common saying is this: Your bound to repeat the same mistake if you don't properly resolve a previous relationship issue.
See, I wouldn't know anything about her or your personal business. But there are basic principles that hold true in regard to relationships whether someone knows another or not. From my own personal observations, I find that most people hop to a new relationship very quickly. Sometimes one doesn't even break ties with the old relationship until another relationship is secured (false sense of security) in place. Two things happen in this common mistake. The same problem that existed with the old relationship will continue to be played out in real life with the replaced relationship. Secondly, by not allowing a space or resolve between relationships, the person cheats his or herself of getting to know ones's own self.Very often people fail to discover themselves from the get go. Relationships can often be used as a crutch toward avoiding oneself. Not to say there are not wholesome relationships. The best bet on a wholesome twosome is to first find a wholesome onesome.

i had this weird dream the other night that i just cannot get out of my head.

my girlfriend and i were laying under the stars, when she said how she resents her existence, and she stands up and slits her throat.  suddenly, i'm gone and i just see her in this huge black cube that is filled completely with water. the bottom of the cube is gone, making a dark abyss that just goes down into the floor forever. on the ceiling is a dead tree that had been growing upside-down. the tree, even though dead, starts growing really fast and grabs my girlfriend, pulling her down into the hole in the floor.  then i don't see her anymore and i think i heard a scream. then i woke up...

that dream scared the hell out of me...  think it means anything?
