Hey guys,

So i've been steadily trying out lucid dreaming techniques for a few weeks now. So far no luck however, I am able to remember a huge section of my dreams every morning. They are actually very clear to me when I wake up every morning. And Im usually able to remember them until the late afternoon; before which I write them down.
Anyway, I found that a few times in my dreams I didn't become lucid but the information that I have been reading about lucidity and having control over dreams seeped into my dream world. I remember in a recent dream I was running from some epic monster and I realized, Oh i know I can do anything here, I'll jump over that building. Or make a car appear or something. Yet I dont every think, am i dreaming?

any suggestions as to where I'm at? Or any advice on what to try?

Thanks,
-Firmitas

Go to sleep in the middle of the day with lights on or sun light coming in from the window, to avoid going to deep into sleep. This might induce LD or SP.

Once in lucidity remember to state to yourself: "I'm dreaming."

Once awake, keep eyes closed a moment and convince yourself that you remember everything. After having opened your eyes, get up at once to avoid falling asleep, as that will make you forget what happened. Write down your LD.

Search on the forums for "saltcube". There's a thread where I posted an explanation on his method to induce lucid dreams and Personalreality posted a mp3 of the alarm clock used. I haven't put it into much practice but it may work for you.

Have you tried affirmations? Simple things really... but they can work and you can be very specific. Try something like " I will become aware in my dreams and recognise the fact." Repeat that three times in the morning and three times before sleep every day for a week and see what happens. Modify as necessary.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
