Google shared dreaming
Non semper ea sunt quae videntur.

My good friend and I who are very close, have seen eachother in the same dream a few times, in the same settings and with the same events happening, so I would most likely consider that a shared dream. Although we were only aware of it the next day..

I just got Linda Lane Magellan's book "Mutual Dreaming" to see if that would help me with sharing dreams.  My boyfriend and I often have dreams with the same themes and elements, and we want to see if we can actually meet in dreams.  So far the book looks good and has a lot of exercises.

You idea sounds great!  Let us know if it works.

Shared dreaming is very common amongst siblings - more so between twins.
Mothers and children may have shared dreams - particularly when the child is in its first months.
My brother and I often get shared dreams - though we have never both dreamed we are both in the dream (eg: we do the same things but instead of me, its him because he's the one having the dream)
Everyone has telopathic properties - if you commonly think the same things etc - try keeping dream diaries and comparing them every month or something :-)

Says who?

Then they aren't really shared dreams.

Or you just think the same things.

Anyone here ever had one? ever tryed to induce one?
i searched for some time but didn't find any way to induce them =P

i got an idea that i will try the next time i got a lucid dream, tonight i hope[:D]

my idea was, when lucid, just think "there is a door behind me leading to X person's dreams" turn back and enter it(always keeping the desired person in mind), if shared dreaming is possible, it should work[:P]

what do you think?
