I'm curious if there's any true clairvoyants around here and if so I have a few questions for you.

Have you always had clairvoyant abilities? And if not, how did you develop it?

Did the NEW system aid in your clairvoyant abilities?

Do you literally SEE things when using your abilities? Can you describe the things you see?

Any advice or good links for someone that's trying to develop their clairvoyant abilities?

Oversoul...

I would call myself a clairvoyant, since I've had clairvoyant experiences.  As far as being a "true" clairvoyant, I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

I don't see auras all the time.  In fact, I wouldn't even say I see them at will.  I would say I see them when I'm grounded, I feel comfortable around the people around, and it usually helps if I've meditated first.  So I may not be a true clairvoyant in your book.

When I see auras, I always see the bluish, clear layer about the skin (what people call the "etheric" body or layer) and I blobs and swathes of color on top of that.  Actually, quite often during healings, I see the body as a mass of dark blue lines--what I also understand to be the etheric body.

Less occassionally I see symbols above person's shoulders or heads--symbols that have to do with their life purpose, accomplishments or past-life connections.

I've been aware of seeing energy since a young age, yes.  Except when I was young I didn't think of it as seeing energy.  I just figured everybody saw what I saw and I didn't analyze or even think to try to enhance it or use it in anyway.  As a kid, I could see (and still do if I focus) glowing, moving, geometric patterns in the dark as I fell asleep.  I have one memory of sitting in church with my eyes closed and zooming out from the earth and looking at all of the planets.  I was probably about six.  I remember opening my eyes after the experience and wondering, "Wow, how did I do that?"  And I tried to close my eyes and repeat the experience, but I couldn't.

I also remember seeing white "glows" around people at the podium in church.

I grew up and forgot about a lot of that.  As a teenager, I didn't think I could see or visualize at all.  I remember being frustrated that all my friends could see the "Mind's Eye" patterns and I couldn't.  ("Mind's Eye" was a series of poster books they released in the '90s).

In the last five years or so I've gotten into energywork and I've rediscovered a lot and developed a lot too.

In general, as far as clairvoyant seeing goes, I've found the most reliable prop to be commiting to daily energy-running and raising.  I honestly haven't found doing Brow stimulation any more effective for opening up clairvoyantly than I have found doing general energy-raising and tending to my whole system.  But that could be the peculiarity of my own system.

I HAVE found putting the attention point (the focus of your attention) into the Brow center to be effective.  Simply putting your attention there seems to stimulate the center and get it moving.

The other major help I have found is validation--validating that you are already are a clairvoyant.  Everyone has a Brow chakra.  There may be energy in the way of clear seeing, but you can see right now.

I have had experiences of seeing on my inner vision screen like I'm looking at a bright, technicolor TV screen.  But most of the time it's like I'm looking at dark colors of chalk on a blackboard.  That's simply where I'm at with my ability.  All I can do is continue to process and accept the level of information I can assimilate.

I have been able to do accurate readings for people using the "dark colors of chalk on a blackboard" level of seeing.  I've seen images/information about people that I couldn't have logically known or deduced.  Sometimes it's hard to validate because it isn't the bright, technicolor images that I'm getting.  But I'm getting something and so I honor it.

All that being said, how a person's ability manifests is completely individual I think.  Anybody reading this could work at it for a couple of months and develop full, three-dimensional, technicolor clairvoyance with an underlying soundtrack.

In summary, what I do is:

(1) run my energy as much as I can everyday, i.e. raise energy through my leg and arm and chakra channels

(2) I put my attention point in the Brow chakra and call as much as my attention as I can into the center

(3) I use light trance (and, of course, work at relaxing my body, clearing my mind)

(4) validate whatever visual information I get, whether it's blurry or not, and try not to be afraid to be wrong

Validation seems to be really key, for me, and in general I think.  I have friends who are very clairvoyant, I think, and yet don't validate it at all.  I have a friend who can close his eyes, and without much fuss, see whatever he's visualizing like it's on a TV screen.  But my friend doesn't think it's "real."  He's believes it's all imagination or hallucination.  He doesn't believe in clairvoyance, doesn't believe in spirits, astral projection or anything of the like.  He's even admitted to seeing "blurs" around people, but he believes it's his eyes getting tired.  So...what?

I believe that lots of people have clairvoyant experiences everyday.  I think I do and I don't even realize it.  How often have you said to somebody, "You LOOK ____. today," without there really being a physical visual cue to tell you how they "look?"

Once I said to myself, "I am a clairvoyant," (and knowing that I'm not a perfect, or maybe even a "true" clairvoyant) I know I started having many more experiences...

Cheers to your reply. I realize it's hard to define true clairvoyance as it's such a subjective experience. I guess I meant strong clairvoyant abilities. It sounds like you have that. We all seem to be developing or at least striving for development spiritually otherwise we wouldn't be here would we? What I'm trying to do with this thread is compare and contrast the different methods and experiences people have with my own. My third eye happens to be extremely active and I'm always, and I mean always, aware of it. Have been for about two years since my kundalini was awakened. I do get visions but they vary greatly in clarity and definitive form. I've seen people that I'd imagine as being in the spirit plane. One time I saw a guy that looked like a depiction of Jesus. He had a real sad look in his eyes, stayed for a couple seconds and faded away. But when I saw him it was extremely vivid. I could see all the colors of his physical features in three dimensions as if he was standing about five feet away from me. Sometimes I see geometric patterns when deep in meditation and their intricacy tends to be really amazing. I do see auras when I focus my eyes right but I'd like to be able to see them better. The thing is I really want to see with my third eye more vividly on the average. What makes me wonder is that when I do see very vividly then what am I doing right? I can't distinguish what state I'm in that makes it so clear. My third eye doesn't feel much different and when I try to duplicate the clarity it gets even harder to see the things I'm trying to see, even with my mind completely relaxed in the same state. I guess it might partly depend on the planetary alignment in relation to the Cosmos. I don't know. That's why I started this thread. I don't know and I'm trying to understand better. I'm hoping this thread develops and everyone can learn something from each other and their experiences with clairvoyance and hopefully we'll all become better at this very auspicious ability.

I didn't write this before, but I guess I do definitely find BREATHING to be a help.  It isn't necessarily that I find breathing more deeply to be necessary as much as I notice that I am breathing more when I'm seeing.

Lately I've been experimenting with the control of breath in helping me sustain auric sight.  So far I have found a steady breath, 4/4 count to be the most helpful to me.  But it's really only helpful if I'm not forcing it, but letting it be imperfect and approximately 4/4.

I think breath helps because as one sees energy through the physical eyes, the energetic demands on the body increase.  It is a gift to the body to breathe more at the times you're seeing.

Another intuitive technique I developed for myself is what I'll describe as "pulling back into the center of my head (again, putting my attention in my Brow center" and realizing what I'm seeing is a picture."

When I shift my attention to the awareness that even what I'm seeing through my physical eyes is, in fact, only a picture, I begin to see pure energy in the "picture" more easily.  It's as if by saying to my brain/consciousness that what I am perceiving (the objects and people of the room) is a secondary manifestation (of pure energy), I am able to see pure energy with more ease.

Physics will tell you that what we're really "seeing" is patterns of reflection of light, or light as it reflects from the objects.  Our mind then interprets the light patterns as "objects" or as "Bill" or "Cassie."

"Seeing everything as just a picture" is a technique that really helps me.

Does that make senses?  Ask questions if it doesn't...

Good journeys and thanks...

Nope, but you may have better luck in your search in these two forums designated for the discussion of clairvoyance:

I've been able to see auras around people ever since I started astral projection. It's like it "awakened" something inside me.

It is always much easier to see to see these aspects in a crowd,or emotionally charged situation.I think I tend to pick up on other peoples emotions somehow.

Thanks for the links. I'm checking that stuff out. I am kind of new to these forums so I'm still figuring out what goes where. Thanks again.

I thought I'd add, I did this with a friend. I had my friend take a deck of cards and pick one at a time off the top and I'd try and guess the suit of the card. After some fatal attempts I started trying with my eyes closed for each card. I ended up on a roll actually seeing a conglomeration of what the suit was, made up of many of the symbols and color all spread around with my eyes closed. I got like ten in a row and scored above probability. I thought it was a lot of fun. We would go back and forth searching in our minds for the key to picking the right suit. At one point I saw the entire card. I said 7 of hearts, his eyes went wide as he put the card down face up. You guys should try it.

I have a Tarot deck! I never got around to using it as reading the book was really boring and it was more of a fun hippy-occultist-must-have than something I'd depend upon.

Guessing cards sounds pretty sweet though.

Everybody is clairvoyant and has clairvoyant abilities.

The only thing that makes us "less" clairvoyant is how we suppress our abilities. Our biggest obstacle is how our ego rules in our daytime on high beta brainwaves. Not believing, not trusting and how we overpower these subtle senses with all kinds of mental noise.

I would highly recommend a book that explains it all in a simple and well structured way. This is one of those "must-read" books.

"You are Psychic" by Pete A. Sanders Jr

http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0684857049/ref=sib_dp_pt/002-6954020-6445611#reader-link

It really is a good and well organized book on our 4 psychic senses and how to use them at will. I do also believe that we all do use our psychic senses more frequently then we realize (before reading this book).

If I only could recommend one book in my life, I think this had to be the one....  It gives the key that can unlock everything else

This is one of those books you buy two copies of;
One copy to share with your friends - and one copy you never lend out

I don't want clairvoyance, I want psychokinesis. You cannot see an absolute future, as seeing it alters what will happen, unless you believe in some all-encompassing fate which 'knew' how you would react to the finish, which is a bunch of hogwash. If there is clairvoyance it can only see possible futures, and since they're not set in stone, there's not really much need to rely upon them since you could predict them anyway.

It seems only a good guard against being surprised. While that may be good... surprises are neat sometimes.

Arnfinn

You are right about what we perceive from the future is just one of a multitude of probable futures.

Everybody is in some way or the other altering the present by putting energy into a probable future. When people are not aware of what happens they energize the multitude of probable futures more by random or by mass hysteria, controlled manipulation and not to forget; "the hundredth monkey effect".

When you become aware of the fact, clairvoyance or remote viewing a probable future will become a useful tool. If you see something in the future you do not like, put your energy somewhere else. No wrong in that. You are starting to become a conscious co-creator. Everybody influences the reality they live in, more or less.
Why walk around blind when you can see ??

The problem you mention occurs when clairvoyants are not aware of the fact you mention. When they believe that the perceived future is equal to the actual future. Then they put their energy into that.

Psychokinesis is also altering the future. Remember that there is no moment of now (present time). The moment you perceive something it has already become the past. By altering think are the "present" (by psychokinesis or by any other method), you really alter the probable futures.
Read this:  http://www.cheniere.org/books/excalibur/probability.htm

..but clairvoyance is much more than just perceiving future events !!

Sensing anything from the past, strengthening your contact with your higher self (exploring at the soul level), sensing the aura (several different clairvoyant senses can detect the aura - not only your third eye), mind to mind communication, and more. No problem with that.

By the way, I too enjoy surprises  8)

1. Yes there are many on this site it seems sometimes the site is so vast that new posts get lost in the sauce .I am clairvoyant and I have met many who have shared their vision of other realms acquired through clairvoyant abilities .
2. yes I recall seeing my baby sister after she died August 1957 I was born Nov 1955 . But clairvoyance continued to develop much like walking we first begin by crawling and then walk with our hands held . I learned a lot from my guides and from teachers both in circle on earth and in spiritual realms .So meditation and OBE is invaluable in that respect .
3. Sorry don't recall this NEW system
4.yes I see spirit and realms . I travel in a group to confirm and to raise the energy and alone to have more control over what I want to explore too . Here are some links to the early journals :

5. yes sit in meditation ,practice using your third eye in development circle , once you develop some degree of clairvoyance then begin OBE and use your sight there too. The more you use it the more accurate you become . It is one of many abilities we are born with and can develop deliberately over time in a predictable continuum .

There is so a present. Using your logic, if I choose to comb my hair, I'm combing it in the future. Yet, while I'm actually combing, it is happening NOW.

The conception of future must only be taken into account when you perceive things which normally would be hallucination or fiction other than the idea that they will somehow happen, making them a prediction.

alexd

Sometimes I get precognition but I don't "see" the object like is often depicted, I usually just get a hunch and just feel and "know" that something is going to happen.
