Psionic beliefs don't interest many. They are way too materialistic and most "psions" out there explain things with science way too much. I personally believe that all energies in the universe aren't "byproducts" of anything - energy isn't really created or destroyed, is it? Usually energy is transferred and transformed.

Ki is the exact opposite. They put too much faith into what they do. Not that that is a bad thing - but their faith extends too much and they get fooled by morons running around pretending to be Goku.

Actually, this forum has good posts. It says energy development and that's exactly what it is for. But of course there are many who come here (including me at one stage) who thought it was a place for developing ki/psi skills.

In the end it doesn't really matter what you believe. We are all using energy in one shape or another. I sort of look into psionics from time to time, but I dislike most psion's attitudes and their explanations for things lack open-mindedness and depth(e.g. Psi is a by-product of when the nerve systems fire. To rephrase that into something open-minded? "Psi is POSSIBLY an energy by-product of when the nerve systems fire." That's what I would like to see more often). But I have used some "psionic" abilities like telekinesis, however that seems to be failing me at this stage.

One thing that I don't like on psionic and psionic related website such as psipog etc is I got the feel like it is some hip thing or pop culture [8D] (or is it really is?[]). Add some pseudo-scientific explanation and terminology which some suppose as the truth rather dogmatically (and some are so sure that their explaination is the only truth). Don't get me wrong, it might help you much if you like it. Also, their tendency to classify people into non and what not.

Why the need to add new terminology such as remote presence, PEA (projecting etheric astral)? Although I agree that some of the "original" terminology might not be that accurate but it has been used much. To put it in another phrase, why the isolation factor?

Although my studies have been slow, more so lately, and the results are few and far between, I am a learning psion.  I still can't do the whole shielding thing.  Well at least not how every one else describes it.  But I am activly working on the following items.

Telepathy
Telekinesis
Shielding
and time manipulation, don't know what you want to call that one, which isn't really time manipulation but rather the perception of.

I have just recently (today) begun working on Telekenisis. I have a pin sitting on my desk with a 3x3 inch piece of aluminuim foil balanced on it. It is covered by a plastic container to make it relatively air tight.

When I can get some time to myself I will be working on experiencing it moving. My reason for wanting to devolop Telekenisis is to prove to myself (primarily) and then to other (secondary) that there is more to this reality then we currently know.

pod, I don't have never used any of this "equipment" you are talkin about. I have develeloped everything i can do psionicly through practice . If you need these so called "crutches" to develop any sort of psionic talent then you should just go to a ki website and get lied to their. Thats what it would be, a lie. I can probably make a duck the size of shaq, shell it, and send it to south africa to  go round twice,and then to blow up in a shower of energy that would mess with people energy fields. The way i can do that is by practice not some bovine excrement machine.

I feel like the only supposed psion here, supposed because i don't really know if im doing what i think im doing. all u usually here about is ki. Im pretty sure it says energy development. as far as im conserded psi is a energy, technically a by product of a chemical shot off by your nerves but lets not get specific,. are there other psions out there.
