Finding it hard to NOT Visualize.

Greetings.  I've read a good portion of Robert's material on healing, OOBEs/Astral projection, and I'm currently in the process of reading through his NEW Energy Ways tutorials.  However, his all seem to stress the body awareness and NOT visualizing.. However, every time I attempt to use my HANDS, or my point of awareness in the exercises, I seem to have trouble NOT Visualizing it.  

Same with his ROPE technique for OOBEs, and others.  With everything, I seem to have trouble not visualizing when using his Tactile Imaging exercises..  I have only been attempting to meditate, project, etc for approximately a week now, but I'm worried that apparently lack of progress is from visualizing too much..

Anyone have an input or suggestions?

Hi there. I'm a "visual" person too, and I use to practice both, first the tactile sensation and after the visual one. I like to play with lights so sometimes I do not use the awareness point circling around my toe and I put a ball of light spinning around its axis inside my toe. Both give me a good energy sensation, specially that one similar to static electricity or fresh water flow.

I'm very acostumed to Ophiel's little method in which all is visualization. I must see myself walking around my home trying to feel as if I was really there. To do that it is mandatory to have a good control of all senses and home's images. Once, sat down, quite unconfortable and not totally relaxed I started to feel vibrations using this method. But it demands a lot of concentration and good visual imagination.
