Quartz is an amplifier. It does not distinguish between the good and the bad energy, though. When you are in a good mood you will like your quartz. If you are in a bad mood, you will find it better to stay away from it. Just use NEW to pass the energy through it and pull it back.

I agree with Tom because I have experienced the effects just as he described it.

A good thing to do if you havent already done so is to cleanse the crystals If you want the crystals to become more attuned to your own energies, you nead to remove all residual energy from others that have handled them. A couple of well recognised methods are to let the crystal sit for a day or two in sea water, or sea salt (rock salt) dissolved in water, or to leave the crystal to sit exposed to a full moon for the night.

I can't say that I've tried moving energy in or out of a crystal so I have no answer for that . I have definitely felt the crystals interaction with my energy body though, but that is as far as it goes.

I believe the next full moon is around the 21st,  22nd of this month give or take a day.

One other thing I just thought of  - If you are inclined to spend $20 - $30 more on crystals at some stage, invest in a small piece of an amethyst cave - a small cluster of crystals. Amethyst is good for recharging / purifying other crystals when they are left to rest on the amethyst.
One thing with amethyst - don't let it stay exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, like don't keep it on a window sill. It's colour fades with sunlight.

Hi James and Tom and anyone else!! I have one more question. Say I were to become impatient, and wanted to use salt water to clense my quartz, is there a certain ratio of salt to water that's best?

Yah, sea salt is a nice way to cleanse, but I have cleansed crystals with Course Kosher salt in proportions of .5 salt to .5 water.  And then I use burning sage to purify.  It is just something that I have read about and find it does a really nice job.  For crystals, the clear quartz is nice for putting under your pillow at night.  It seems to help with the strength of my dreams.   What ever works .......works right?

One method I know of to clean crystals is to bury them for a day or two. This is assuming you can find them again. Reiki can be used to clean crystals quickly, as of level two for usui reiki or level one for kundalini reiki. Passing the crystals through fire or incense smoke can work. It might be that just burying the crystal in salt could do the job. In general, something is used to represent an element (fire, water, earth, air) and it is brought into contact with the crystal over a period of time. Then it is also possible you can use energy to do the job. It depends on how much cleaning is needed and what materials you have with you to use.

Hi Everyone!!!! I recently bought two quartz crystals, and I was wondering what kinds of things I could do with them? They cost me $3 per crystal so if I donI'd appreciate anything that can allow the crystals to be reused if it's possible.
