I'm currently fourteen years old, and well, am sorta interested in this. I've taken a couple online-like tests and some not, and they are saying the only chakra that isn't open is the root, which is ~ -50% inactive. Alot of places say I should wait until I'm 18, but honestly, I'm not afraid of anything bad that could happen.

Uhh, now, is there an easier way to raise kundalini other than the yoga exercises, I don't have time to do all of that every day, and am very interested.

Thanks.

You don't have to do yoga to raise kundalini. I rose it by meditation alone.

Kundalini is a very powerful energy and one should have respect for it and be sure to be mentally and emotionally balanced before starting to deal with it. It's also a very pleasant and blissful energy that leads to enlightenment.

I don't know how trustworthy those online test are. Get a feel for energy and develop your energy skills and you will be able to determine yourself the status of your chakras. Or if you don't have the time to wait to those skills develop, go to a skilled clairvoyant and have that person tell you your chakras status.

I don't think one must be at a certain age to raise kundalini, if you are ready then you are ready. I wish that I had came across kundalini earlier. I'm 26 and I started to have kundalini activation in the summer of 2002.

Grab a meditation book and find some exercises that suit you and go from there. That's how I did it. I can recommend a book by Eric Harrison about meditation. I'm swedish so if I translate the title it's something like "Learn how to meditate, give yourself fifteen minutes a day". It's an excellent book that's mainly for beginners. It doesn't say anything about chakras or kundalini though but it's a good start.

So do you consider yourself enlightened. Is this kundalini raised in your spinal canal as you type?

I'm considering myself partly enlightened, I still have a way to go. Maybe I wont reach full enlightenment in this life but I'm working on it. On the other hand I believe their is no limit in how enlightened one can be.

Yes my kundalini runs in the spinal but also in the middle and the front of my torso. I think it's kinda narrow to say that kundalini runs only in the spinal because it activates the whole energy body and the chakras.

What is enlightenment, Stamboe? In your own words.

So you are saying kundalini is always there? That it rose and stayed in place? That it did not descend at any time since it originally rose?

In your mid torso? Is it traveling down from the crown to the heart after traveling to the brain?

What can you do now with an "activated" chakra that you couldn't do with a dormant chakra?

I don't know what your purpose of asking me those questions are. It feels like you are testing me or something. If you don't have the right intent I don't see the point of asking me those questions. Anyway I will answer them:

Enlightenment to me is to have a mind full with unconditional love and act with love towards other beings.

My kundalini rose and it have stayed in place. But I've had times when it has been stronger. I have a permanent energy flow though and I feel that it will become stronger someday.

My kundalini travels up from the base to the crown and down again. But I can reverse the energy flow to some extent. It is a strange energy since it's independent and travels on its own and since I can direct it with my mind.

The thing I can "do" after starting to work with my chakras is that I feel more relaxed, have a stronger self-confidence, more peace of mind and increased well-being.
