Not sure if it has to do with the amount of energy moving, though someone else may post some ideas about that.  I was just wondering if you are well rested physically when attempting this.  If you start when you're already tired it will probably be harder, at least in the beginning.  Have you experimented by trying it at different times throughout the day?

Good luck with your energy work.

Namaste,

unfortunately, night time is the only time that I can do this AFTER both the kids are in bed.  Maybe i'll actually TAKE a lunch break before my other job (only other feasible time) and see if that makes a difference.  Thanks Reemy.  In the meantime, i'll persevere with my nighttime excersizes [sp?].

Cheyyne

Heh. If you're doing it about the time you hop into bed and you're already exhausted, yeah, you'll get tired. It is mentally exhausting, for me anyway. If you're all ready to hit the hay, you want to go to sleep anyway and that's probably why you're feeling so fatigued with it. Alternatively, consider doing the exercises faster/less thoroughly any time you get a chance, as that may help you get to some of the other areas you don't get to at night.

10: 30 pm was never too late for me before.[xx(] but that's is a really good idea that you have Cheyyne.  I will certainly give that a shot and see what happens.  It would be soo nice to get past the legs at some point.  I know focus is a main ingredient but perhaps I might also be trying to hard so I will try to generalize instead and be a little faster in the movements and not focus so much on establishing a definitive reaction.

it might also be that you have had major energy blockages in your feet and legs and your energy body is struggling to keep up with the new load.  just an idea to consider.
as below, so above

if i had blockages, would i not feel anything at all then?  While i wouldn't be surprised that i do have blockages, how can you tell the difference between energy that IS moving and energy that is stuck?  (hmm..must have clarity this am as that is what I was trying to ask in my main question but couldn't figure out the right words)  I have read other threads but can't discern the difference.

I have such a hard time doing meditation when I'm tired at night, so I usually don't bother.

If I remember right, Robert Bruce says that it's ok to break up these energy development exercises into small parts if you can't do it all at once.  Maybe you could do a few minutes here and there at your desk at work, a little bit when you get at home, etc., and maybe build up the energy circuits to make it easier at night.

i"ve started NEW and the problem is, I don't have a problem getting energy to move, my problem is that I get to work on the feet and soles etc and by the time that I get to trying to do the legs, I'm sooo tired.  Is this an effect of too much energy moving?  Or is too little going through and it's because of my concentration?  I've done an experiment to see what would happen if i only did the sole thing as a starter and the results are about the same but I think i can get a little farther and do the legs without feeling that effect but it does come no matter what so that I have to stop and go to bed.  Just trying to understand is all.
