Reiki helping with AP training?

Hey everyone! I just had an interesting idea. I am going to reiki classes next month for the Reiki 1 degree class. After the attunement, your chakras supposedly are more open. In astral projection training, you need to know how to open chakras. So, if you took Reiki, wouldn't it be easier to train for astral projection?

I've been doing reiki since 1998. It is nice to have; it has helped me to control bleeding and to heal burns and bruises. It even led me to having fewer accidents and to get sick less often. Sending reiki and even attunements at a distance is a simple matter and I can almost do it in my sleep. The thing is, though, that my focus is still almost exclusively on physical matters and all my experience of higher levels has been in purely physical terms. Yes, my chakras are more open and I have much more energy to work with than before. The problem is that reiki and other approaches have not forced me to let go and open up to higher dimensional awareness.
