Hi everyone,

I recently found this forum while researching info about Astral Projection and I thought it would be a great place to discuss AP and to learn some new things from other AP(ers). I'm mostly inexperienced with AP, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation, etc. , so I hope to learn a few things while I participate here  . Everyone here seems very nice and welcoming and some of the posts I found while lurking were really helpful so I'd like to thank the members for that.

AP is a bit tricky for me because it's hard for whatever reason to get into a very deep relaxed state. I always feel like I'm "forcing it" even though I'm not trying to and trying to keep it as natural as possible. Most of the time I get a Lucid Dream or get into a Vibration State by seemingly random chance so whenever I get into the state I sorta go into a "woah " moment and then I snap back out of the state and get a bit disappointed for screwing it up again. Its hard to stay motivated sometimes but I somehow managed to keep going for about 2 years with this stuff.

You made some good points there. You can't force it, you have to learn how to passively observe and allow the "shift" to take place. The "woah  " moment excitement is exactly what snaps you out of that state. It is a balancing act of sorts, But the more you experience it, the more it does become natural and that excitement seems to fade. That's when you need to replace it with "curiosity". Your curiosity will always draw you deeper.
