Auric Vision

Hello, everyone

I have been making attempts to see my aura and it would appear that I have some degree of natural ability. For the first couple of days I have been working on focusing the visuals. Getting clearer and longer lasting images by working with my peripheral vision. Today I was practicing and I could make out a shape which can best be described as 3/4 of a circle bulge in my aura protruding upward from the scalp of my head to about 2 1/2 inches. It was roughly the size and diameter of a large fist. Although I did not actually see a chakra as such, I believe this to be the silhouette of my crown chakra.

However, another object came into more clarity after awhile, but it was above the crown area. It first came into focus as a point of light shining out from a pin prick. Then gradually a spherical object came into view around it placing the point of light at its center. This sphere was of a golden-white light that had a visual quality similar to some of those detailed photos of the sun's surface:

Of course, there were no flames shooting out of it and it was composed of a bright golden-white light with a misty to it. I'm not sure if it is an eighth chakra or not because it was bigger than a fist. It was closer in size to that of a basketball.


But something disturbed me. As this golden-white sphere came into view something else came into view as well. All around my aura, as if superimposed on top of it, there was this purplish "oily" looking light. It's form was similar to the shape and appearance of oil resting on the surface of a glass of water although it's form barely morphed but ever so slightly. It looks as if someone has taken a picture of such oil, placed it on a transparent animation cell, and lay it over the visual perception of my aura. At first I thought it was apart of this new golden-white sphere I was seeing, however this purple stuff radiates out from my head to cover my whole perceivable aura and then some.

I've never heard of such a thing in any writings concerning the aura. Anyone have any idea what this is?

Have you considered it could be another layer of the aura. There are several different bodies, which have different layers, and can be structured. You may be seeing your mental body with the brightness above and around your head. The purple area, you could be concentrating in on your etheric template body.

"It is my understanding that to visually see the chakras is too see spinning wheels of light (vortexes) and requires clairvoyance. Seeing color auras however is much simpler and most anyone can do it with sustained diverted gaze and a little 3rd-eye activity. However, it would seem to me that you have described witnessing your Soul Star. I believe doing so would require non-trivial 3rd-eye activity which manifests visually as violet/indigo/purple energy."

This was a reply I got from a place called gnosticweb. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen energy in use?
