Do you think they work, if so how, or not?

I have read various reports about them. I read a book a number of years ago by the author William Hewitt. He gave instructions on how to use them. I tried it myself and had mixed results. Since then I have read that they can attract negative energy if you are not specific in asking the question etc.

Would like to know if anyone uses them on a regular basis with a high percentage rate of the method been correct on questions they ask.

Pendulums don't actually attract any kind of energy other than your own.

There's been a lot of hype about them, none the least from a few years ago when we had a whole pendulum fad thing going here tied in with "alien" channelings.

I use a pendulum form time to time, and my institute teach the use of them as part of psychic development.

Basically they're only an indication tool. They can be used to get yes/no/maybey answers direct from your subconscious, or they can be used do dowse energies, such as using them to check the energy flow of a person's chakras.

The only time you'll get any negative things happening with them is if you're feeling in a bad place within yourself.

I should point out here what was mentioned by my teacher when we practiced using them in class - people can become hooked on them. They do provide good confirmation from your subconscious on things to do with "soul direction", but when people get hooked on them they can start using them for everything, every decision, and effectively stop thinking for themselves. You'll know if you're at the stage when you have to consult the pendulum about what coloured underware to put on in the morning.

My fave pendalum is a long crystal from my great grandmother that was a prism on a crystal lamp . I suspend it with fishing line over the open palm to ask 'yes' and 'no' questions . The body can act as a pendalum while standing too . It is awesome to find self gently nudged forward or side to side , lol .

I open in protection
power up
call in your highest source
place the pendalum over an open palm
ask for a "yes" sign typically this is top to bottom
confirm the "yes" sign
ask for a "no" sign  this varies and may be side to side or the cessation of movement for example
confirm the "no" sign
ask one clear question which can be anwered with a "yes" or a "no "
