where chakras are located?

As far as i know, all the major chakras are located in the front of the body but there are hundreds of energy ports all over the place.

At the front, apart from the root chakra which is at the base of the spine.

Chakras are usually seen from the front clairvoyantly as glowing or pulsating spinning "wheels" or "vortices" of the appropriate colour, averaging the size of the palm of your hand - except for the crown chakra which is much larger. I see them as vortices.

I have switched to NEW now however - and the results are much enhanced - for me anyway.

Dear Helion,

The answer in my experience is front and back.  They actually pass right through you front to back (except for the crown chakra which is on the very top of your head and the root chakra at the base of your spine).  Think of it as two funnels that meet each other in the middle of your body.  The funnels turn the same way if you could see through the body.  But if you look from the front at the third eye on a women it would be turning counter-clockwise and when looking from the back it turns clockwise.  For men it seems to turn in the opposite direction.  I feel the front and back turns in my third eye and throat chakras most.  I really can not feel the turning of my lower chakras nearly as much.  The faster you can get the charkas to turn the more you can feel them.  When you first start feeling your charkas it just feels like a lot of pressure is being applied to the area.  Hope this helps.

Hi and Thanks a lot for the information. As I am not a well experienced on aura vision I only see the third eye and crown centers but only as a white-like concentration of the aura there.Of course you must find someone who want to stay still and this is not easy.BTW I agree with this clockwise turning feeling in the third eye area but is strange that this is not perceived or feeled to other chakras,i.e solar plexus.

My chakras are killing me.

I think lethargy sets in, when the chakras aren't being used enough, and the spiritual energy that makes them spin and whir (is whir a word?) is low.  I've been feeling down lately, and I can't even feel my crown chakra.  

Here's a personal problem.  Oddly I can feel the energy on the sides of my head, but not directly at the top.  I used to be able to feel energy over my entire scalp.  Could it be a diet problem, lack of spiritual energy problem?   Maybe suggest ways to remove this blockage?  Or if they want to remove it for me, I wouldn't be opposed to that either.

As for the original query, I've always imagined Chakras inside of me radiating on both sides to the front and back of my physical body.

I think I have read in a few places that the chakras are at the front of the body, but they connect through the body to the spine. I find this to be quite accurate, but not very practical for some reason. I mean, if I try and draw energy from the base up through the spine then to stomach, it doesn't work half as well as going straight up from base and ignoring the spine. However, I do get sensations when playing with the roots of the primaries at the spine, and where the pathways would run (seems to make activating the primaries easier). I do not know why it is like this though, bit confusing really!

Hi all friends, when one want to see a chakras apart the one of third-eye or the crown chakras where have it to "see"?In the front area of the body or back of it?
