I envy your contactsness. I have long lashes and a steep eye curvature (whatever that means) so I have a lot of trouble getting them in and it's not worth the hassle.

I have practiced here and there seeing the aura of my hand (and other stuff) for the last two days and I think I'm already getting results. I have a question though. When you see an aura, does it feel kinda like you aren't seeing it with your eyes? Like you are perceiving it with some other sense? It's a little hard to describe, but that's the feeling I get. Also: Is it easier to see your own aura than that of other beings?

Anyway, back to auras: I'm almost positive that I saw the aura of my hand last night. Yay! Also, today in Social Studies I saw the aura of my teacher. I know that I wasn't just fooling myself because mine was definitely green and hers was definitely blue.

This is incredible! Never in a million years would I have thought I could make significant progress on something metaphysical in a week.

i relax my physical eyesight a bit and then let my perception shift to my spiritual senses and then let my brain overlay the two.

another way that i'm doing it that is allowing me to see what i am calling the "magnetic stuff" is shifting my physical eyesight a bit towards seeing "less-physical" stuff (harder to describe this one).

last night i was really seeing auras around my room. i was tired so i guess that helped. i even started seeing a bit of blue on a couple objects and a hint of blue around my hand.

You mean the concentration exercises? Nah. It's actually kind of a weird story.

I was posting something on something else about how my eyes kinda did this funky bulgy pushing thing and sorta roll up into my head whenever I do energy stuffs. Anyway, I was thinking about why it might be doing that and decided maybe my eyes were trying to see auras or something. So I tried to re-create the feeling with my eyes open and started to see green stuff all around my hand. I haven't been able to do it as well ever since that one breakthrough moment, but I have realized that it's all in how you focus your eyes.

The way I see it (no pun intended), there are a couple different "levels" of eyesight. There's the most obvious, regular sight of physical objects, people, and so on and so forth. There's the level where you see all these little multicolored dots flocking around (I think they're bacteria on your eyes, not sure though). There's also a level where you see the larger black thingies known as floaters. (It's fun to move your eyes back and forth and make them dance![]) I think auric sight is just another level.

Once you see the aura of someone, is it easier to see that person's aura than to see someone else's for the first time? Cause that's what I seem to be experiencing.

Anyway, I had a thought last night. Maybe it's actually EASIER for people with bad normal eyesight to see auras, because nature always seems to compensate for its slip-ups. (Had this marvelous revelation when I saw an aura much easier with my glasses off.)

Anyways, about glasses being off..  I noticed that last night, when i took myne off, things seemed to blend.  I couldnt tell if it was just too dark or if it had seemed like the space inbetween my fingers was filled in my blur, but who knows...

I am near-sighted.  If these lenses come off, I'm blind past 5 feet.  really.  It's true.  

On another note, in the other aura topic here, somebody posted a link to this place that says to train your eyes, you have to keep the two circles together (they form a yin-yang).  They mention all these ways to do it, like holding your index finger up to it.  When i looked at it the first time, i remembered that that stuff comes natural to me.  You know those posters where you put your nose to it, then move it away?  I could always just look at it and see the "hidden" image.  I never needed this added stuffers.  

Just felt like divulging more oddening information about me!

5 feet was an exxageration... I sti about a foor away from my monitor. If the glasses come off, I cannot read a 50-pt. font in word.  It's awful.

Why did they cancel Invader Zim?  Was it too teenagerish for Nick or something...because I read the creator's books (Fillerbunny, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, etc BTW: I did not get Squeek from Jhonen's Squee character if you were wondering)  His books are hilariously funny, but I doubt that if he made them into a series that comedy central or mtv would even take them!  They are funny though.

Anyways...  Another useless post.  I'm actually trying to surpass MJ-12 (or whatever it is) to get on page 2 of the member list.  The all important ranking chart!  Heehee.

How bad does your eyesight have to be to be declared legally blind? Probably too blind for glasses to fix it. I saw this show once called A Walk In Your Shoes or something like that where this kid put in these weird contacts that made him legally blind and tried to do stuff normally. I'm thankful for what precious little eyesight I have.

P.S. to Squeek - Try getting the really short style glasses, if you still have giant ones that cover your whole face practically. They limit your field of vision a little, but are SO worth the reduced weight. I LOVE THEM!!! Actually I hate them because they're still glasses but that's okay. []

I dont have big glasses, i have thick glasses. Meaning if you look at it from the side of my head, they are like 1/4 inch thick.  The glasses themselves are like cool 'shades size.
