Hey guys,

Recently I had a friend tell me what my aura was, he said it was green like dark grass and you could feel the warmth off of it like a summer day.  He doesn't know what it means and neither do I.  Does anyone know how to interpret that?  He also mentioned that in astral projection everyone has a task.  Then he said there are such dark and evil things there that he is too scared to do it anymore.

in short i have a few questions:
1.  What could my aura mean?
2.  Does everyone have a, "job" so to speak, in astral projection?
3.  Is there evil there? if so, is there danger in OOBE's?

Thanks!

I only have insight on your number 1 and number 3 question.

1. I'm not sure how much you know about chakras, but basically they are the energy centers which make up your energy body. There are 7 of them, and each center is represented by a color. Here is a good illustration, just click this link http://mindmattersonline.co.uk/Picutres/Chakras_clip_image001.jpg

Anyways, so each energy center has a different color. If you have blockages in your chakras- for example your heart chakra, which is illustrated by green and you have a lot of negative emotions, you will have less of this color in your aura. Your aura is basically a representation of whichever chakra is the most active, or a color combination of the chakras which are the most prevalent at the time. So, if you are really happy, and have a lot of positive emotions, you'll probably have a green aura that day. You can research to find out what each energy center is responsible for. It is important to cleanse your chakras so that your energy body is running at the most effective rate.

Here is another site which explains it better than I can. http://www.elemental5.com/ChakraType.htm

For question 3: If there are negative energies which exist. These are found in the lower vibrational levels. If you run into any type of negative entities/energies, there is no danger because you can ALWAYS immediately come back into your physical body by just willing yourself to do so. You can come back instantly, by just concentrating on moving a finger or a toe. It's a sure fire way, and it has always been 100% effective for me. Intent is the key. If you leave your body thinking about negative things, more than likely you will run into something negative. Like attracts like. So just shoot for beautiful experiences. If something negative comes into your path, the best thing to do is just ignore it. IF you let it feed off of any fear you have, it will just make it worse. It had no power at all, especially if you pray and ask for God's protection.

Hope that helps! Oh, another thing to check out for a GREAT way to cleanse your chakras and help induce an OBE is the Tibetan Chakra Meditation CD by Benjamin Scott. It's helped me alot, and I have about a 75% success rate. Here is the site to order it from Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/Tibetan-Chakra-Meditations-Christa-Michell/dp/B00003Q5AL
Download it and use it on your Ipod. It's great to use when you take a nap. You'll wake up listening to it and be in the perfect trance for an OBE. LEt me know if you have any luck!!!

I wouldn't believe all of that categorically- sounds like interpretation.

Quotein short i have a few questions:
1.  What could my aura mean?
I think Bondgirl answered that one.
Quote2.  Does everyone have a, "job" so to speak, in astral projection?
Yes and no.  Astral Projection is not a job, it's a stage in development, and metaphysics can tell you that we all are here for a reason, and that (amongst others) is to explore, or to Love, or to experience, depending on your worldview.  So Astral Projection is just another way of 'being'- so in 'big picture terms' there's always something we are meant to do, whether in the physical or in the nonphysical.
What I've observed however, is that human potential for advancement can be measured in degrees of awareness- you can just be aware of the physical and deal with day to day stuff. Then because of things that happen, (real-life problems) you begin to look at yourself more in-depth- the whys and you become more introspective, curious about the way 'you' tick.  And in looking at your own mind, one day you discover that your dreams are more complicated and more interesting and that they're always not about your daily life- at least not obviously-directly.  So you become more aware of dreams, maybe look into interpretation.  Then your awareness takes a leap and now you start becoming aware in dreams.  Then you discover that your dreams are more complicated while you're in them, and you start having lucid dreams, and can stay in an 'unconscious' environment while being 'conscious'.  This brings on a change in your dream content.  You realize you are actually learning things in dreams (aka 'dreamstate lessons').  You then actively start learning stuff about dreaming (creating, changing things, for example) and you may then have projections, or you may have been doing it spontaneously before.)
So your awareness goes from unconscious to conscious creating, and from spontaneous to controlled projection.  Now you travel to 'mythical places' and you learn something.  And the more you learn the more you realize you have to learn.  If you're projecting, you may go from projecting to the RTZ to projecting to the more abstract places in the astral, and the more you go 'higher', the more places you can go.  It seems to be a graduated experience, which accounts for why people see them as 'steps' or 'planes'- experiences teach, and you build on them, and you go further.
So I wouldn't say that everyone has a 'job', more like everyone builds on skills that can take on the appearance of a job or a mission- but I think it's just part of the learning.
Quote3.  Is there evil there? if so, is there danger in OOBE's?

Thanks!
Evil is a measure of partiality and limitation.  So I'd say, that there is the appearance of evil in any experience that requires perception, but the damage is more emotional than anything else.  So the adage 'Know Thyself' and 'You create your experiences' or at least shape them is very apt here.

Thank you to both of you.  You both gave answers I was hoping for.  I was so excited to OBE and have been trying for a month or two now, and when he said the thing about evil, instead of anticipating it I feared it.  But now I understand that there is nothing to be afraid of.  Bondgirl, I am going to try that chakra CD.  I will let you know how it works!
