Almost got "out"

I was alernating between trying to phase and roll out for about 1.5 hours around 2 am. I get lots of lights and images floating by. Funny thing was I started to float up, my head and chest were "out" but I was stuck at the waist. This happened 3 times. Each time I thought, "That was close, do it again". I maybe should have thought, "Unhook and float free". Kicking myself for not having the right thought.  Oh, I'm still trying to quit drinking and this was 3 days after 15 oz of vodka.  My vison was limited to about 2 feet, I saw purple and pink swirling colors that seemed to compose my "astral body".
