Anyone ever tried to use Astral travel to perhaps view or see events that have happened or maybe to find out about known world mysteries which have had you intriuged? for example: has anyone ever tried to gain information in the astral world about what really happened to Lord Lucan? or has anyone ever gone back and been an astral spectator when the Hindenberg disaster occured?

SnakeDoctor

i wouldn't mind going back to Normandy on June 6th, 1944. that'd be a humbling experience....

but then again, im weird like that.

or back to the time of Plato, when he wrote about Atlantis, then question him on where its at and go there.

thats just a couple.

or if you watch "Robot Chicken" do an "Aholes in Time!" and when i get back and notice somethign is changed blame it on society :D...but don't think thats possible.

I once read an AP book where the author said he went back and saw how the pyramids were built. He said they knew of a way to create forms the shape of the blocks, fill the forms with a special mixture of sand, add water, and presto - the great pyramid.

In other words, I no longer believe what astral projectors claim as historical fact.

This is not so farfetched at all. French scientists were able to make a liquid stone few years ago and i think the ancients possessed this technology. This is the simplest explanation on how the stone walls can fit so tightly together that even a needle cannot go through. They do compress a little but there would still be some small holes.
"What are you doing here, Nasrudin? his neighbor asks. "I'm looking for a key which I lost
in the wood?" Nasrudin replies. "Why don't you look for it in the wood?" says the neighbor,
wondering at Nasrudin's folly. "Because there is much more light here"

I don't think you can astral project into a time that your astral body did not exist.  You can only project into real-time.

Stookie

What if you project to a part of the astral that exists outside of space and time, and then observe events that take place in time from there? Then you could view any place in any time. I don't see why our astral bodies would be confined to time and space - only our physical bodies.

Milkdrops

Well I would think any realm in the astral world operates outside of time and space. I dont think theres any dimension/plane that operates within the boundaries of time and space at least not that I have heard of.

Funny enough i watched a TV show in UK other day with that psychic (claims to be psychic) from MOST HAUNTED.  He went to the great pyramid, even inside the great big tombs the queens and pharohs tombs.

He said he was possed by the spirit of one of the people in charge of the workers who built the great pyramid.

And he said just about the exact same method was used to build them, as the post on here said.  He also said workers was working day and night like shifts, so work on the pyramid never stopped until the minute it was complete.

YouTube Derek Great Pyramid  you will probly see some clips, the guy is abit of a psycho and probly a fake but it was interesting.

If the Akashic Records exist, you could view anything at anytime, past or future. Right?
There are in every man, always, two simultaneous allegiances, one to God, the other to Satan. Invocation of God, or Spirituality, is a desire to climb higher, that of Satan, or animality, is delight in descent.

Fair enough.  When you project into those times and places tell me what you see.

Awakened_Mind

I thought the astral was out of space and time in the first place.

the future isnt set in stone, life would be so pointless if it was

FadeEsdrasX

In the astral world isnt it not based on time?
Given that in the astral anything is possible.
We set up our own limitations. Not the astral.

Embodied Words

Time is a physical thing. Gravity affects time, and if gravity doesn't work in the astral, time doesn't work in the astral. You could totally travel in time if you wanted to. That is, of course, if APing is real. And I really hope it is.

I disagree.  From what I have read, I have come to the understanding that the Astral/Spirit realm is timeless therefore, you could see into another time.  A real-time projection is what we know as your standard out-of-body experience.

I haven't experienced a conscious Astral projection (that I'm aware of) and have seldom succeeded at a OOBE (thus far) but these statements are based off of what I have read.

I think its 99% set in stone but not totally.

Awakened_Mind

Well usually clairvoyants don't see the future the same as we see the past except it hasn't yet happened. Usually, they see a storm of sybolism. A physicist would see this as infinite possible vectors that haven't yet collapsed into the formality of actually ocurring. Why out of everything that can happen, certain things do, is still a mystery.

Derek Acorah has now more or less been outed as a fake.  Cieren fed the researches some info on a character called "Kreed Kafer" (anagram of "faker derek") and lo and behold Derek went into lots of detail about this "Kreed kafer" character!

http://badpsychics.com/thefraudfiles/modules/news/article.php?storyid=32

Yvette calls him a "fake b....".  That's why he was dropped from Most Haunted.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSiFlVp65NM&mode=related&search=

I've seen him live and he puts on a good show.  Quite likeable, but fake I'm afraid.  His theatrics on Most Haunted became laughable with all the possessions, and peaked when he got possessed and blurted "Mary loves willy... Mary loves willy"!!!  Was he taking the p... or what? !!!  :-)

I quite like him, he livened up MH but is a fake i'm afraid....

He's off? Oh man, he was the only one who appeared to have ANY knowledge of the occult. I finally gave in a watched a few shows, the rest of them are useless.

"Ooh, its a bit scary in here, I'll get my digital camera...."

You cant photograph astral phenomena with physical equipment. D'oh! And the average horror writer has a far more extensive knowledge of the occult than all of them put together. When talking about ghosts, none of them mention shades, shellls, vitalised shells, etheric doubles etc and I dont think the word astral has ever been used!
