Anyone ever tried to view major events or gain knowledge on famous mysteries?

You've been part of these forums for years now, and it's such a shame that you've never managed to have an OBE.

I'm not too sure why you are still here if you believe what you wrote.  You therefore must think that you are talking with a bunch of liars at worst, or delusional people at best?  Are you hoping to "de-convert" us  because I reckon you're flogging a dead horse - you see those of us who have had OBEs know that they aren't fake.  We don't necessarily know what they are exactly, but we sure as hell know they aren't fake.

There's obviously been a keen interest in OBEs for you, as you've been here so long.  That's why it's a shame you have come to the conclusion that you have.  I can understand it though - before I ever had an OBE, I would have held a lot of doubt in my mind as to their genuineness.

And you do realise that saying 'OBE = fake' is asking for trouble - you know what people are like (not just members of this forum, but people in general) - dangle a carrot in front of them and most will bite!

Thats not the problem...i obe when i can and thats rare. I do not achiece obes whenever i want, so i cant do experiments bymself. if i could i would prove that obes are just illusions. i am not saying that you people here lie. i just say that you believe in something unreal: there are not strong proofs even for yourself, that obes are real. I dont saw yet anyone here doing tests like the card test with a very high degree of sucess. in my opinion, obes are just a a kind of hallucination.

Does life after death count as "knowledge on famous mysteries"?

I believe that I've had the opportunity to visit a close relative's heaven (Astral?) world.

The experience occured during a meditaion session, was hyper vivid, and left me with very clear lasting memories.

So, I belive that I've ansered the question for myself that there is existance beyond this world.

I didn't realize this intellectually by reading books, I realize this because of personal experience.

btw, it's taken me over 40 years.

Something I find myself studying when I have an OBE is death and reincarnation. Other mysteries in the world do not matter to me as much. In my mind the basis of life is death and reincarnation, nothing else is anywhere near as important.

I agree Astir, reincarnation/life/death seem to be what i end up thinking about whenever i try to OBE or anything. Also, I think you can go back and forth in time in the Astral and see events. AP is how Nostradamus came up with his predictions, although he didn't do it in a way that I've heard anyone else on this forum do it.

I don't think AP is how Nostradamus came up with his predictions. I'd say clairvoyance, that's if he did in fact predict anything at all. Simply because in the astral, while it may transcend time, it's not made up of symbolic imagery from the future. To do that you need to focus elsewhere.

I've seen things that will happen to my future incarnation. I'm very confident that's what I am seeing, because I feel so at home as this other person. So technically the future...and that's one reason why I know the world doesn't end in 2012.
