AP problems?

Just wondering about a few things, please clarify this for me.
I was doing my relaxation techniques, and i think i felt my body cavity expanding and getting big(what body is this called again?), then i just imagined me climbing a rope(ap technique). I felt the vibs, vertigo, and i continued process. I then actually felt my legs and arms slowly go up. I actually tryed feeling my 'new' arms climbing, and my chest later moved up. I couldn't release these thoughts from my head, and that was the hardest part to release(my head). I could hear my head slightly physically coming up so i knew something was wrong. I was happy with the progress, but don't understand what i did wrong. I'm patient and determined. I gave up shortly after that, but i knew the symptoms were right, I was almost out! Also, since i'm 'pulling myself upwards', will i go through my celling? I was on my loft bed, so i'm only 3 feet from the celling. What should i do next?

I believe you are referring to the Energy Body expanding during trance.

You're not that far away from the ceiling, so I would say it's possible.

Perhaps your head wasn't as relaxed as the rest of your body, so maybe you should spend some more time relaxing that part of your body?

Keep your mind clear (and stay relaxed) while climbing the imaginary rope and ignore all sensations that you may experience during your projection attempt.

Energy Raising may help...

When you feel yourself rising, you can try to roll to the left or right to fully seperate.

That was my first time really triggering the trance and almost seperating. I'm trying everyday, and i tried remembering what triggered that.
I'll try to focus and relax my head more.
Is it possible to imagine pulling myself down? or straight forward? Would this work the same? I could try the rolling over, but will that pop me out to the side?
I can tell when i feel my astral body release itself from my physical, but sometimes i'll twitch or move and i hear that. Is that a bad sign, or just continue on? I also feel like when i try to get my head released, i can get it started, but my neck will start to move a little.
Also, i'll be proceeding through the vibs, virtigo, and the feeling of releasing my arms, legs, then torso, but then i get stuck and nothing new happens; should i stop if it fails? It seems like if i continue then nothing more happens, and i try my hardest.

What should proceed this stage? I felt like i was on the threshold, and trying to project, almost there, so yeah, where do i go next?

Well, straight up will be the best way (of course?). Imagining yourself climbing down the rope wouldn't do any good (unless you are trying to enter trance).

Yes, you will fall on the floor (well, most of the time).

I wouldn't worry about that unless you are experiencing physical pain.

Yeah, like I said, it sounds like your head/neck is not as relaxed as the rest of your body. Don't focus on your Physical Body.

If you've been trying for awhile with no luck, you should definitely take a break. You're trying too hard and losing that relaxed state of mind that is required for one to exit (well, it seems like that anyways).

I've recently read up to date, but I was wondering about a few things:Regarding the stages, 1)am i supposed to stand up and walk around and see if i'm OBE; after 2) The symptoms of vibs, vertigo, eyes, heart, light, etc., or 3) should i reduce my 'stress' from everyday life and just try it later when i'm at more peace?

I remember having crazy psychic inccidents when i was younger, like having a dream about a friend who wanted to go rafting, then later that day he called me and asked if i wanted to go rafting with him. So i know i've done it before, with validation, but now it seems like i'm trying Too Hard. I don't know if i just need to push the boundry and try it differently, rather than thinking too much about it.

1 and 2. My advice is to forget about your body once in the trance state. It's your consiousness which leaves the physical, not an anatomically correct counterpart of yourself. I'm no expert but I think when people think the latter they have too many thoughts which take away from focus... "My head is stuck... I can't move my astral arms... etc." Just focus on intensifying the vibes by feeling them and nothing else. Only then will you enter the etheral/astral and be able to utilize what they call the "astral body." Sometimes you'll know right away you made it and go exploring... other times you'll completely forget you were meditating and wonder what you're doing floating around in your living room.

3. Looking back, the more I had on my plate (part time job/full time college) the easier it was for me to trigger projection. Whether their is a relation between stress and ability to project I can't say. Is it a factor? I guess if you make it one.
