Bright peices of light

Today I was sitting around at my girlfriends house, sitting on the couch I was in the middle of conversation when above me, more diagonally right and left, I see many little bright pieces of light. It looked like confetti made out of bright light, This lasted for maybe 7-10 seconds. I moved my eyes closer to focus on them, but when I tried they disappeared. This was really crazy, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I felt almost as if I was on a drugs, but I wasn't. I was wondering if anyone had some insight on this. Should I see a doctor? This was one of the strangest things to ever happen to me. It was completely random, at no specific time, I didn't even feel in a relaxed state when it happened. What is going on?

I also see sometimes light orbs moving around very quickly but only with my peripheral sight.Whenever i try to see them directly they disappear.I believe that this i caused of energy going up from the root chakra to the crown.Through this route, when the energy reaches the third eye, you see these lights.Maybe someone that is more experienced in this forum can give us a better explanation.

My 6 year old sees them all the itme, she says they are angels (I have shown her pics of orbs and she says these are the angels she sees) Maybe your spiritual/meditation or whatever practices are causing you to be more sensitive to the non-physical realm.

Maybe, it all sounds very possible. However the lights I saw weren't so much the typical orbs I see in pictures or on videos on ghost shows on the discovery channels and such. I mean they could of very easily of been the same thing, but this looked more like a bunch of sparkles of light in my peripheral vision, when I tried too see them clearly they disappeared. They weren't circular either, they just looked like, well, bright sparkles of light. Very similar to the sun reflecting off the surface of a lake.

Still could be. She ws telling me yesterday that she couldn't get the angel sparkles off of her hand, that they kept staying on her hand. I think they play with her. Don't put God in a box, it's all God... and so are you.

Your daughter sounds very special. Thanks for your input, it helps a lot. When this happened to me, it kinda scared the sh*t out of me, not because they were scary but because I thought I was going crazy. For the past couple days I have been seriously questioning my sanity.

I see the sparkles every once in a while. I was scared of them for some time. I thought I was going insane too. Now I try to sit back and enjoy them when they appear. Sometimes there are hundreds and they dance around my whole field of vision for 10 seconds or so. Sometimes I just see little blips here and there. Once I stopped thinking about all the bad stuff and psyching myself out... I realized that they are pretty darn cool.

Perhaps its just something to do with your vision, like closing your eyes and seeing specs of white light behind your eye lids. Just a thought.

I've had the sparkles too, but I don't think they are related to any spiritual stuff. (at least in my case) I had just ran alot, and gotten swetty etc. when I started to see these bright thingies moving in random directions in my vision. This was before I had hardly had any thought on spiritual things etc.

I haven't seen them since that moment. Sometimes I think I see little blips of them also, I dunno I kind of want to see them again. They were pretty cool...

Yeah, that's from physical exertion. When I lift my max, I'll get that sometimes.

You saw many of them? I see little bright pieces of light out of the corner of my eye too. They are usually a vivid blue (rarely white) but I only see one at a time. I did however see a larger blob of blue mist at one point but usually it is these tiny flecks of light.

I went to the optometrist and they checked for a detached retina. It's very important that you go and get this checked out. A detached retina has symptoms of unexplainable lights and it could lead to being blind. My optometrist could not find anything wrong with my eyes, so I went to another and they also said my eyes were ok. Guess I am seeing the real deal.

Funny thing I just saw them today after I got out of my shower.

I was crouching down to turn on the heater to dry quicker and then there were 4 bright lights, really small. I stopped to look at them move and they just dissapeared.

I have never scene anything like them before, not like if you stare at a light for a while, these were bright enough to light up a room if need be.

Yes, I saw a lot of them, 10+ on each side. (That's an estimate, but it was definitely more than one) And it wasn't like they were a part of my eye because when I moved my eye they stayed in the same place in the room as if they were apart from me. If it was my retina, wouldn't it of moved with my eye? I wonder if there is a proper name for these things? Anyone know?
