The question isn't "can" you... the question is SHOULD you?

But you will find that through this practice you will be challenged to deal with any "vanities" or personal traits that may be deemed harmful to your personal growth.

Lust is a very hard one to overcome.  I am not a sexually lustful person, but I found that during many of my spontaneous NPR (Non Physical Realms/Reality) visits, I found myself deep in the middle of a sexual encounter or a tease of one. I then could enjoy it for what it was or do what I normally do, which is to change my intent to another destination/scenario or NP goal I have.

My lesson was don't freak out at it but seeking it out ... bad idea  Focusing low like that doesn't lead to anywhere good You get trapped there you won't like it. It's  a very unpleasant  place and painful to get out.   
So don't get freaked just quietly leave.

I'm a little confused at that you guys are saying. You mean if you go into the astral looking for something in a sexual nature you will wind up in a bad realm or something? I am not sure this really makes sense as I have heard other accounts of peoples sexual experiences in the astral with 'entities' etc and they did not sound bad by any means nor did they find themselves in any sort of lower realm.

Those are just their experiences. I think the main idea is just to be careful. Especially with sexual energy as it is usually very strong.

My statement said nothing of the kind.

I was just saying that there are way more exciting, adventurous things that lead to expansion of your consciousness, then just going there for "Sexual fantasies". But, I don't believe there is anything wrong in experiencing it. It can be a extraordinary experience, just like all the others you will find there. I just don't think it helps with our personal growth. Any vice or vanity can be detrimental to growth.

But, if you look at the stats on this forum, you will see that "Astral Sex" is one of the main topics viewed here. So, many others here have the same idea as well.

My take on this,
If you go out looking for lust with hateful feelings of revenge for example, your experience is more likely to be 'tainted' on the bad side.

If a sexual encounter develops naturally within an experience, it should be a pleasant experience.

Always keep in mind your experience will be SIMILAR to what you desire. You may start with a babe and half way through end up looking at an old hag resembling the atypical witch.

A little self respect goes a long way with this.

You may get an offer of sex if it is on your mind. This COULD be related to the physical world city backstreets. Go if you dare, in the physical you'd more likely refuse. Itchy scratchy rash reasons.

It's as good a goal to pursue as most really. Nothing wrong in it. I wouldn't fixate on it, but the thing in itself isn't a bad thing.

I think there is a tendency for people to associate sexuality of any kind with lack of control. If non-physical sexuality means loss of control for you, then caution is advised. If it doesn't, then I don't see the harm in it.

Sexuality often implies something different in non-physical context though... the more intimate experiences tend to be those where the participants share experiences or memories. By living the other entity's life for a little while, you share something beyond intimate... it is like you have taken a step toward becoming the same entity. That is union of a high order!

the issue I ran into was the demand on you can get overwhelming. you dont have to be projecting to have an encounter and you have to sleep and function at work and such. It can spill over to where you dont want it and its hard to get it to stop. Especially when your tired.

Funny, you're wanting to have one, while I'm trying not to have one every time I become Lucid to some extent.  I'm getting better and its not every time, I exaggerate, but when it starts I just can't seem to stop and lately in my dreams I am even saying the same thing to teases when they happen and we end up doing other dream things, so progress! 

Mind you, not that I don't want them, but I want to control them so when I meet a live entity in the Astral, I don't want to right away get frisky with them even if they are the hottest being in existence.  I mean how would that look if I encounter a being that nobody has ever meet before and I right away get frisky with them 

So like LionHeart says, its not a matter if you could, it's more of a matter if you should.

I found that sexual encounters were a great way to become lucid in a dream.  Since my goal in projections is spiritual growth, I had to put a stop to it (sex) because I became addicted.  It was happening all the time and for quite a while I couldn't get it to stop.  Now I've programmed all thought form men to reject me.  It works great!  I used to basically just throw myself at them but that's hard to do now that they find me repulsive. Lol!

OK. I was gross, but my intention was really to be honest and give warning that a lot of people get addicted to lucid dreaming sex.  There are so many amazing things to experience in the NP, and this can really be a distraction if you're not careful.
