Hi,
i
I have always found that when my body becomes paralised i'm able 2 project thats the point when i no it's time
do u experience vibrations when it happens 2 u?

Sleep paralysis is a normal step towards projection. It always happens while the two bodies are separating.

You should just remain calm and in no time you will see that you are splitting from your body.

Good luck

Hi!

If OBE is your goal, you are making great progress!  What you are feeling are projection vibrations, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Aren't they at trip?

The trick now is to relax completely.  Just let your body flop.  Like you have no bones, no muscles, no nothing.  Just flop.

You might need to practice a few times before you can relax yourself (again) well enough to project.  But when you succeed, you can launch yourself just by willing it!

Be gentle with yourself . . . even the most seasoned OBE-ers fail more than they succeed.  But every success is worth every failure.

Almost everytime I try to take a nap in the early afternoon it happens to me, maybe I should attempt projection from there?  I thought that it didn't work that way for some reason...

Tisha

heck yeah!  do it!

remember - - flop![:D]

Thanks for the advice. I just get freaked out by the sleep paralysis episodes and then I can't focus on trying to project. I will try to remain calm next time and see what I can do from there.

one more thing, if you are in sleep paralysis and you cant seem to project try the roll-out method to have an AP

I have a sincere question/concern about the vibes...

Sometimes, actually most of the time, when I get them they make me feel incredibly uncomfortable; they almost hurt me!  Even when I try to relax, which is everytime, they still feel incredibly uncomfortable.  It's like this feeling that I am about to break though but I don't.  Does anyone have any ideas or similar feelings?

Thanks,
Daniel

well im gonna guess that your thinking about the vibes too much or u just have a natural ability to have powerful energy in your chakras.  im sure if you ignore the vibes then you can get past it and be able to AP (if you haven't already)  just assuming which is a bad thing to do but whatever

During the latest two or three months I've noticed that if i sleep 4,5 hours after school and wake up at around 7-9pm and then go to bed at midnight or later I will always experience sleep paralysis. I usually struggle in order to move and after I'm able to move I will have sleep paralysis again as soon as I close my eyes[}:)]. This can happen 5,6 times a night and then I will turn on some music and try to stay awake.
I've tried to project from that state a couple of times. I try to stay calm, then I'll either start seeing through my eyelids or I'll get the vibrarations... then I'll fall asleep [8)]...
This is maybe a good method to get those terrible sleep paralysis.

I think I read somewhere that you're already seperated from your body when you have sleep paralysis. Then how can you project from that state? And is there any difference between sleep paralysis and the trance state...

However, recently I have had alot of episodes of sleep paralysis. A few night s ago I started going into conscious sleep paralysis and eventually willed myself out of it. I did this a total of three times while trying to go to sleep. Eventually I just got up and watched TV for about an hour before going back to sleep undisturbed. I want to continue with pursuing astral projection but the sleep paralysis is difficult to deal with. Should I be trying to just let it happen and attempt projection from sleep paralysis or should I take different steps. I do feel like I have made alot progress over the years and I certainly don't want to hinder myself now.

plain and simple, my theory
Sleep paralysis is when you wake up in your astral form, but you still haven't projected out of your body.

I have found in the past that I am unable to reach trance state if I am too tired.  Instead I just fall asleep.  I could see where that would be why you are able to when napping.

I remember how I felt when I first encountered Sleep Paralysis. I didn't know what it was and thought I was having a stroke. LOL I'm sure glad to hear it's normal. Whew...
