Since i joined the forum I have had great guidance from members and the hundreds of posts i've read have been full of quality information.

The thing is previously I felt I was making progress, I was reaching the vibrations and other typical signs fairly regularly. Now I haven't had much happen for a couple of week.

Have I overloaded myself with information? This happen to anyone else?

This is controversial, and it shoudn't replace your practice but I had huge succes with galantamine this night, maybe give it a shot http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/are_there_supplements_worth_doing-t44392.0.html

Yes, you are confusing yourself and trying WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too hard. Practice, PATIENCE and Perseverance are what it takes to be successful on a regular basis. I highlighted PATIENCE because I see that is a major problem today with learning anew.

This practice does not work hand and hand with the "Now Generation's" mindset.  :-(

Go back to what worked for you before. When I read a thread/post, book or watch a video on AP, I try to "see through" what they are saying. I try to pick out things that I think may be helpful.

You are rushing a process that takes time. Just like a fine wine, it gets better with time.

Ive toyed with similar ideas but I'm not sure I want to go down this road. Whether or not it can be harmful and i'm sure it isn't if you are suggesting, I wouldn't want to be dependant on it for experiences.

I know it probably is impatience but i've been interested in ap since I was 15 and I have'nt given up trying and nor will I. But you are right I will continue with my previous method which was 90% affirmation and 10% a method of focus which bring on vibrations or sometimes a strange bouncing sensation. I got some ideas from some of the sticky threads and maybe should have combined them with my own method rather than replace them. For the past couple of nights I did revert back to my own method completely and nothing happened at all. I actually fell asleep really quickly which is not like me. It's hard to shake the feeling I've changed something subconsciously by getting all excited about the things I've read here. My biggest challenge was getting rid of my fear, after I did this about a year ago more things started to happen and I dont want to start from scratch. If only it was like riding a bike!!

Sometimes going back to what works is the way to do it. Like they say "If somethings not broken, don't fix it!  :-)
