Habit and OBE's

A habit is something that happens without willpower.  Its something you do because you're used to it, are you sure this is what  you're talking about.

You also said "consistancy and passiveness will greatly assist you."  That seems to contradict itself.

Just wondering exactly what you mean by habit.  I think you're onto something about the not procrastinating thing.  But a habit could be procrastination.

let me try to clear things up,

If you make a habit out of practicing OBE's, you will get good results. When it becomes a habit to practice any obe techniques that work for you everyday and you are consistant with this habit for a month, you will very easily get into a passive state of mind, and this is the right frame of mind to have an OBE. Because you are not worried and you have no expectations.

thats what all the books say... train energy all days, make something that you do all days like going to the gym or something like that... also you should remember and record your experiences, thats something very useful if you want to have lucid dreams.

for those of you having difficulty acheiving the out of body state,

using Habit will greatly increase your chances.

When you make a habit of something, and you are consistant with it every day and you don't procrastinate, you will get results, this apply's to all aspects of life,

this is just my opinion, I have had alot of positive results when I made a habit by excersising every day and then getting into a passive state of mind and then attemping to project.

making a habit out of something will give you a passive state of mind, that passive single minded state is what's needed to project.

consistancy and passiveness will greatly assist you.
