Experiments in OBE- Nonphysical Exploration

As I integrate I feel the brunt of both the fears of parts of me; and the fears and limits of the beings that I shall be sharing and teaching too. It brings to bear the question of proof, validation, and objectivity- if such a thing exists, repeatability, verification, evidence, etc. This can be brought to bear not only on OBE in particular, and all its various facets such as dreams, etheric projection, astral projection, lucid dreams, etc., but also upon the subjects of channeling, telepathy, telekinesis, and the reality or falsity of my alien origins. It is time to objectify these things. It is time to make good on the proof factor of this stuff, and make it true science. I draw heavily from the idea of remote viewing, in that it is tested, and tested, and objectified, and proven, and tested, and refined, and objectified, and scrutinized, etc. Edward Dames, Joseph McMoneagle: There are no assumptions, only irrefutable data obtained from infallible experimentation and re experimentation. Thus I shall elevate OBE, astral travel, channeling, etc. to the task. I remember the tests that Jane Roberts performed with Seth, for instance clairvoyant tests that he all passed infallibly. Jane Roberts, Robert Butts, and Seth shall also be major inspirers. I shall raise the standard of what I accept as real, and demand that objective, scientifically presentable data is obtained to support each and every aspect of my claims. This must be made into a science, so it is time for me to become a real scientist. Here is a list of EXPERIMENTS to do in respect to these things in turn. The teachings of Okanos, his concepts of shifting and expansion, take into account all phenomenon, so it is within the scope of our subject to experiment with any and all of these things as I so choose, and still remain true to the subject matter of this book- Travel Farther, developing and expanding the infinite, objective, perceptive-experiential power of consciousness

Proof, Verification, Tasks, Experiments, Critically minded Exploration and decisive Questioning, Repeatability, Verifiable Data, Unquestionable Evidence, Critical Testing, Rigorous Controls,

·   1) Can you project at will (e.g. when you aren't feeling tired, or ready for a projection)? I guess that if the answer were yes, your success rate would be slightly less in these situations?

2) Have you ever experienced full consciousness in the physical, whilst simultaneously projecting?

3) Were you able to make any progress with the tests that I had suggested?

I here on out work from the root assumption that what all desire is objective, irrefutable, inescapable reality and hardcore evidence, and this shall be the basis and the standard for all that follow. It makes no sense to delude ourselves in whatever sense of the word, and for whatever purpose, or applied to whatever means or whatever aspect of science, be it material or spiritual. Thus the result of these experiments shall be proof, whether for or against the objectivity and reality of the aforementioned phenomena. If one does not leave from this material with a definite undeniable assessment based upon hardcore, repeatable, irrefutable data, then I have not done my job. J

Due to the nature of these experiments- requiring varying degrees of skill in the assumed abilities heretofore named, I shall group them into classes, and attend to them class by class- while simultaneously experimenting, exploring, growing, and learning in the experiences and experiments themselves.

Ok. At first I was going through the gradations, which was nice. But now it is more interesting to me to do these experiments. I'll use the gradations as rather than a guide, something like a checklist to say: I did this. I'm past this gradation through my normal curiosity-excitement driven development. I put the Gradations in the appendix as a FYI, and discontinue its use as a strict guide to my travel.

I'll work with this chronologically, or rather in order of appearance. It would seem to be thwarting to 'attack' all of the subject matter simultaneously. Thus, since OBE happened first, I shall deal with this matter. I had instances of meetings with guides during my start at OBE, yet not... willfully first as with OBE. Thus I work solely on OBE as far as experimentation/proof goes, and allow the progress of other aspects to go as usual, even in support of my OBE practices, so long as all is definably documented. Then I shall move on to channeling, psi in all it's aspects, and the reality/irreality of my apparent alien origins, using any of these as tools should they prove to be valid perceptive/explorative experiences. I shall use the modern, standard method of scientific experimentation in validating or invalidating these phenomena, as the data dictates. .

Class A Experiments
'Class A' experiments deal with the relationship that exists between dreams, lucid dreams, astral projection, etheric/real-time projection, hypnagogic imagery, out-of-body experience, visualization, imagination, hallucination, and delusion. This class of experimentation deals with understanding the subjective subtleties of the experiences themselves- as experienced by the experiencer, and comparing and contrasting the resulting phenomena and occurrences from each experience.

·   Is there a difference between a dream, a lucid dream, an astral experience, and an out-of-body experience?
·   What are the differences between OBE, dreams, lucid dreams, astral realm experiences, parallel universe experiences, and hypnagogia?
·   How would one compare the lucid dream to say the astral plane?
·   How would one know the difference between the lucid dream and the astral plane?

Class B Experiments
'Class B' experiments deal with the objectivity of the phenomena. This class deals with whether an out-of-body experience is really an experience of something leaving the physical body or separating from the physical body, or an internal experience. This class involves observing real-world physical objects from the out-of-body state and reporting on the observations, and meeting up with other out-of-body travelers and conferring upon or transferring information, which can then be verified, and disturbing physical world objects while out-of-body and comparing the movement of the object to what is don't "out-of-the-body" when back "in-the-body."

·   Make sure the target is out of physical reach, or to be seen in flight, etc. Shuffle a deck of cards and place 3 up high so that you can't see them physically, making sure not to see their faces in the process, and look at them 'out-of-body,' and see if you're right. (David)
·   Read something (a book, a sign, a drawing, etc.) somewhere else unknown. (David)
·   Move or break an object while OBE and compare with the object when "back in the physical body."
·   Experiment with turning on the light switch while out-of-body.
·   Meeting up with someone else and being able to verify and validate that we indeed had met up.
·   Test 1: Test one would be in a real world setting. It would involve a target object that would be observed and described by an OBE traveler. They, of course, would not have physical access to the target. Only via OBE (would they have access to the target.) There would be several witnesses at the target and with the traveler: to document and verify what the traveler reports, and to document the target. (Mark Baron: alt.out-of-body)
·   Test 2: Test two would be in the astral world. Two OBE travelers would OBE to a predetermined astral location. One would have a code phase or predetermined action that would be communicated to the other OBE traveler. The receiver would then report what was observed then have this verified by the sender. I would want both travelers to have several witnesses to document and verify what was to be communicated and also to verify and document what was received. (Mark Baron: alt.out-of-body)
·   Let the target be mechanically randomly generated to prevent telepathic contamination of the results- double blind testing at that.
·   Involve animals: Communication with close pets for instance.

Class C Experiments
'Class C' experiments deal with more theoretical considerations, which are dealt with upon the success of the phenomena in passing the 'Class B' tests. Among other things, relationships to universal theory, time travel, and other-dimensional physics are delved into in this class of experimentation.

·   How do nonphysical experiences relate to quantum theory, super strings, holographic universe theory, and higher Euclidean dimensions?
·   I think the best evidence for me would be to be given some insight into perhaps the future. Even if it were something simple like what tomorrow is going to be.
·   "I believe that, assuming the astral is "real", the only way to find evidence for its reality would be from within the astral itself.  For it to be "real", it would have to abide by some sort of physics.  If there were some way to take measurements while projecting, it should be possible to create some elementary postulates and equations for certain common astral phenomena. If these seemed to hold true for all projectors, I believe it would be an excellent framework for setting up more advanced tests to provide more solid evidence."
