ok. this is how it went.

im writing this 30 mins after "waking up".

i woke up today, did my errands and went to my bfs place to chill. i was pretty tired but it was ok as i was quite relaxed there.
i came home by midnight and i was exhausted. i layed down in my sisters room for a bit and the next thing you know, it was a strange thing.

i knew the lights in my sisters room were on, i could hear her on the phone, i could hear the television on, and yet i was also sleeping in my bfs place on the couch where i was sitting earlier. i woke up there, and our friends who were there earlier was there again.

I started telling them it was impossible as they went home by midnight too and i saw them get into a cab. they were not supposed to be there.

Also i was chasing a feeling, a feeling of satiation when u are parched and you drink cold water.

At my bfs place, there were 2 of many small objects. Like my purple lighter, there was 2 of it. there was also 2 of some other things.

I sort of "woke up" coz my sisters voice became clearer so i snapped out.

But i was at home sleeping in her bed and also at my bfs place.

when i woke up, i walked straight to the kitchen and drank 2 glasses of cold water.

And i was fully awake.

My bf has researched on this topic and he thinks it may be an out of body experience.

Is it? Why did it happen? And how?

Thank you.

Er, an Out of Body Experience is something you do with your energy body, in which you achieve Astral Consciousness.
So what was the question again?

Ahem, this is pretty much how I see it:

OOBEs, AP, LDs, False Awakenings...they are just terms, categories we came up with...they can help us to define the sensation or the type of entry into the non-physical but...they are not descriptive of the nature of the experience.

You might want to take a look at this too:

I despise the term "Astral Projection".  It's belief-centric, misleading and it sucks.  The term "OOBE" is more pragmatic in that it is more precise in its description.  If you experienced being elsewhere other than the exact location where your physical body lay still then you can say that you had an out-of-body EXPERIENCE (OOBE or OBE).

You had an OOBE.  8-)

Boom

Hi lightrosh. Congratulations on your experience.

I can related to two similar experiences concering my now ex girlfriend when I was with her.

I was asleep at home and I woke up, became fully aware. And I kid you not, but it really felt like my girlfriend was laid in my bed next to me.  I was sure she was there! Then I became a bit confused and perhaps thought maybe I was at hers, but I didnt remember driving there (She lived an hour away). But then I snapped out of it and of course she wasn't there.

Another time I was at home and I became aware like yourself that I was at her House. I had OBE'd to my girlfriends bedroom. The room was similar except a few things out of place. A huge tall chest of drawers next to a bed rather than a small table for instance. her laptop was on the bed and she was in bed sleeping. I tried communicating with her but I  had no voice. So I tried using the laptop to leave a message! (stupid I know!)  Which of course didnt work.

On both occasions my girlfriend didnt have any experience, feelings or memory of being in my presence. Also that particular night she didnt have her laptop in her room, and she actually had her cat with her, which I didnt see.

So who knows?  They say RTZ (ie going out of body in this dimension) can have subtle differences, but I feel I got it totally wrong.

Maybe its just a strong dream, I dont know. But I was fully concious and aware at the time.  Vision was clear.

Anyway she's an ex girlfriend now, so ladies, I am single!!! :D

Waking up in a dream is called a false awakening. It could be an obe, could be a dream. Hard to tell. Theres not a clear line inbetween.

Are you saying you were still aware of your physical self while this was going on? Thats pretty cool. I havent had simultaneous awareness like that very often.

Have u considered it to be a lucid dream with overlay from your sister's talk?

How real did ur talk with ur friends seem?

Did u manage to recall everything from this experience?
