How long do you normally take to astral project?

I know it varies from night to night but on average if you were to attempt to astral project consciously how many minutes do you think you'll be able to exit your physical body?

Apparently extremely skilled projectors can do it in around 10 minutes :-o - I wish I could do that I'd probably be projecting all the time...half dead half alive.

I give myself anywhere from about 10 to 30 minutes, up to 45 minutes if I feel it's needed. But never any longer than that. I'll quit trying if it's going to take that long. I have a life to attend to.

A lot of people tend to forget about that very simple point.

Whats your (approximate) success rate in percentage of exiting??

Lol! I hope it's more than 66.79% Stookie!

It almost always takes me 1 - 1.5 hours.  But the time is getting shorter.

Yup, thats how long it takes for most people.
And its supposed to get shorter over time.  A lucky few can AP within 5 minutes at will in almost any conditions

Does anyone ever feel like 2 hours must have passed but it's only been like half an hour? Time seems to slow right down for me...especially when I'm meditating.

Actually, nobody can really say how long it takes for "most people"... since for "most people" it varies greatly depending upon (mostly, in my opinion) how long it takes an individual to relax their entire body.

This, however, is true.
The more you practice at something, naturally, the better you'll get at it.
Also, the more you practice it, the more you understand what it feels like to be in that certain state and makes it easier for you to duplicate those feelings.

I wish I could break it down, but I can't. Sometimes it's really simple, sometimes it's near impossible. What I'm currently dealing with in my life at any given moment has an effect. I go through long phases where I don't make any attempts at all. Sometimes it can be a several in a short time.

I tend to push things to the limit, it's just my nature I guess. Usually takes me about 10 - 15 minutes to project to the RTZ/4th density  and about 30 - 60 minutes to project to the 5th density.

Stookie

Why would time matter depending on the "density"? It seems a person can either go to the "5th" or not. It's not like you have to sit in line to get in.

kurtykurt42

It takes time to generate enough energy to get there (at least for me anyways). After spending about 30 minutes raising my energy I can project and stay in the "5th" for about 1 minute. Otherwise I will bounce off the surface as if I'm hitting the ceiling.
