How did I come to this knowledge?  A very long string of occurrences.

I am guessing that it started from a young age with;

Matthew 22:36-40New International Version (NIV)
36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Sure!  We'll go with that. 
Whatever gets someone to that point is good.

The difference being that I recognize each of us as "god".

Honestly though, when all is said and done, learning to walk with Love in our world is just the more logical way to go through life. 
We really don't need more Fear... Fear only tears things apart.  Love builds.

Now, with that said, you *CAN* build with Fear.  Those people who do this can seem like strong and powerful individuals, but Fear's potential to build is limited.  Love's potential to build is unlimited.
