interesting paralells

The only book I read of his was "The Art of Dreaming," and I found it to be very interesting, to say the least.

Has anyone read any of Carlos Castaneda's books? namely 'The Eagle's Gift'?. He talks about three states of attention, the first being the normal-mundayne consciousness and the second as perception of the luminous shell, or dreaming body. The third is not quite clear as acurate description in words is impossible, but is was said as being the dissolution of the physical form and the awareness of the true self.
There are other things such as the the great eagle, the paralell lines and staring at time head-on, i guess only true experience can disprove or validate.
Any comments?
