Well, Frank says that F4 is the "ultimate" focus of consciousness, where infinity beings seems to be merged on one mind. Osho says that many people stop here, in this "mental plane", thinking that there is nothing "above". But he says that after the mental are the spiritual, the cosmic, and finally the nirvanic, where is said to happen the "extinction" of the self, and so enlightenment. One of the books that he talks about that is "Psychology of the esoteric" - you can download it in emule.

So, what do you think?

From what I understand of F4 is that it's still possible to have an ego. F4 is probably the end of the ego which is why so many people think it's the End-end. They can't see past their ego.

PS - I have no personal knowlege of this, just book-knowledge and theories.

The way i look at it the F1-F4 levels describe areas of consciousness  only in our system. that is our source/manifest system of reality we got going on here. all the ideas are at f4, these ideas get gradually more objective as you go down your consciousness continuum.

Who knows whats "beyond" our system though. whole different systems with entirely different rules than we can comprehend as humans. i think its amazing. imho, existance is definitly not limited to the F1-F4, and the only way i think we can know for sure is to stick out this ride of life and experience it for ourselves.
