yes it is possible, but you need enough mental energy and will power to keep it alive.

theirs physical objects that have lasted a long time in the astral because so many people admired them and empowered them with energy.

I suppose it's possible...but the amount of energy needed is undescribable (at least for me...) it's not something you do just like that. I would understand if you would like to create something small, perhaps to proove yourself it's possible...but your own island? don't you think that's a bit heavy? just think about the energy you would have to provide it with for maintainance....

If you create things in astral that spirits like (and give energy to), maybe you could get back more energy than you put in. The more efficient or better (in spirits' opinions) things you can create, the more powerful you would become. Make interesting things!
