If there were only a few days left, I would do things that the authorities would try to punish me for. That is why I dont do it when life lasts longer. I would run naked through the mall, do lots of drugs, screw hookers, and lots of other fun and crazy stuff. If doing that didnt prevent me from doing other things in the future, I would be doing it now.

I sort of see this topic as being at odds with the message of the topic.  Of course people are still human.  There are a few who never get angry (ONLINE) or never argue (Online) there are some who I guess are "advanced" in real life to the point they dont get angry or act human.   Who said arguments online are such a big deal.

Do you think people who go around knowing they have a soul are now immune to everyday BS?   I think people act differently online than they do rt.  I wouldnt trust someone and think they're a wonderful person by how they act here.

The best thing to always do is learn for yourself.  Learn to AP.. do it.. see how you change and  how you need to change.  See if you suddenly are immune to everyday stuff.  There is no "this is the way it should be" there are only individual people.  And a quote timeless likes saying is "you cant change others only yourself."  I think jung said it although I probably misquoted.

If i knew I was going to die tomorrow yes things would change.  In all reality knowing you will die some day in the future doesn't change much.  You still are living day by day minute by minute.. and you dont always have an AP experience fresh in your mind.  It can give you perspective but it in no way makes you into any type of Great figure everyone is in awe of.

If I had but one day to live?
The temptation to change and to try and be something uniquely good and virtuous would be overwhelming and completely false.
I think the best thing you could do is to be what yopu are to the best of your ability. Be true to the path you've taken and to what you've come to view yourself as.

People on a path of spiritual improvement are just as likely to stumble and get lost as anyone else perhaps even more likely.

The Zen way of doing things and living is to always do things like they were the first and the last chance to do something. Honestly, giving the best go at it you can, with careful intention and without worrying about the irrelevant.
Abide by that and it doesn't matter if you have 1 day or one millennium to live.

I have noticed that people that can AP, it´s not different from other people in a spiritual way. They still continue to be bad as any other person. They still fight and and being egoistic as a non-AP person!!

Maybe they are even worst in some cases and i think i know why. Forget that you know that we have a soul, forget about AP and that there is life after death. You are now a normal person.

Now let´s made some modifications to the "normal person": imagine that a doctor comes to you and say "Sorry, but you only have 1 to 4 days for living, after that your disease will kill you!". Or if you prefer imagine something similar: "The world will end tomorow".

How would you spend your last time in the planet? Supposing that you didn´t get depressed, i think that the most people would live at a maximum with everyone. Even enemys would be forgiven. Every single moment would be unique, since you knew that you wouldn´t last forever. Your compassion and goodness would be greatly improved.

It´s with that kind of spirit that we must live every second of our lives!

But many times that kind of spirit will only come with the knowledge that we are not imortals and that one day we will disappear.

The problem of some AP (i suppose, based on some recent fightings in Astral Chat) is that they think that they are immortals (because of AP, astral body, etc). The immortality creates arrogance many times.

I remember from "The Lord of THe Rings" (or Silmarillion?) that the gift given by God to the humans, was the gift od Death. Based on what i sayed and at the budhist teachings (the power of now) it´s easy to understand such phrase.

I hope that all of you remember that, independently of our (im)mortality, life is unique, everyone is unique, and every second it must look like as if was the last one from our lives. Only in that way we can develop ourselves and live with infnity compassion for all the living beings.
I love you!
