Preventing OBEers watch you *TO MR BRUCE

thats a good question.. robert bruce recommends having a protective layer of water running around your house, as negs can't pass through water. but would the same thing apply to naughty projectors?

Now, from my experience in obe's and the knowledge gained from Robert Bruce himself, seeing these sort of things, requires you to stay in the real time zone, which is some thing that requires lot's of etheric energy, which most novice, beginer projectioners are not to great at, most of time, you end up in the astral, you will see people there, but there multi dimensional bodies instead (remember we are ALL multidimensional beings) so said projectioner will see your astral side, and that astral side (which is residing in the 5th dimension) is doing diffrent things that your 3rd dimensional physical body, now don't get me wrong, yes you can go and spy on people in the physical earth dimension, how ever, you can do same thing with remote viewing, i my self have while obe, have wondered off into other people's houses, i once went into some ones bathroom (no one was there btw) how ever, it was extreamly vivid, i remember every detail of that bathroom, all i can say is, don't worry, most likely he/she may just see your astral half which is doing some thing else, now i am using my knowledge in this, if any other ober's or astral projectioners who are more experienced in these matters, do please correct me if i am wrong, other that, cheers

Why do so many people always ask for Robert Bruce's help on the forum? I mean, it's not like he's the only guy who can do this. There are plenty of expert projectors at this forum (such as Frank, and Ginny, from what I've read).


But, if you really don't someone creeping into your house, and you know who has been doing, you could always get an aluminum baseball bat, find the person, and weigh-lay them with it. Be sure to tell them why, though, and that you'll do it again if you catch them.

Of course, I don't any spiritual/energy means. Maybe you could put a really big spheroidal shield around your house?

Yes, I am also aware of the fact that there are expert projectors like Frank and Ginny in the forum.  All I wanted to do is to attract Mr. Bruce's attention too because we cannot see him make a comment often.  People, like me, who wonder how to prevent an OBEer get in your house and watch you, would be really very glad if those expert OBEers share their ideas with us about this subject.  I think privacy is a crucial issue and we do not have to share our private lives with other people since it is "private".  Expert OBEers it is your turn..

Actually, privacy really is not the important issue you think it is.  Frankly, you, and me, and we . . . we're pretty boring. Most of us look pretty silly naked, our homes are a mess, and are diaries are full of self-absorbed drivel. JOIN THE CLUB.

Self-importance is a big ego-hurdle we all just need to get over. For most of us this takes a lifetime.

Anyway, by the time an astral traveler gets good enough to visit places without all sorts of reality-fluctuations mucking up the works, the LAST thing he/she probably has on his/her mind is YOU !  

And if he/she does visit, or end up at your place by accident, it won't be to see you naked or read your diary.  They just won't care.

I think the suggestion that we're not important could be harder to accept than the idea of an entity visiting us without permission.

Who knows what an individual might do when s/he develops an ability?  We are all human-beings, we might visit an ex-girl friend's house or use OBE for evilish purposes.  I know a person who uses OBE to visit houses, etc.  That is another issue.  Please let us help each other.  My question was if there is a way to prevent that, not "how I can become not annoyed by the presence of other people in my house".  My point is not to overcome this, I would like to learn theoretically if there is a way to do it.  I hope I made it clear now.  By the way, if the OBEer gets into my house by any chance he would be the one who will have "ego" and "self-esteem" problems after seeing me naked. []

Have you read Psychic Self Defense?  You could learn how to do what are called "Wards."  Sort of like Astral Wardens, they protect.

Once I OBEd at a friend's house.  My daughter was sleeping in their daughter's room, and I wanted to visit them, to see if they were all right (some moms have this weird habit of checking to see if their sleeping children are still breathing).  But I stopped cold at the door, and decided I couldn't go in for some reason.  When I woke up, I found the parents (magickal practicioners) had set up wards around their daughter's bedroom.

If it weren't for this one experience, I would have told you it couldn't be done.  But then again, I believe nothing would stop a very powerful entity from seeing whatever it wants. I just either wasn't powerful enough that night, or I simply decided (some personal will was involved) to respect a barrier.  

People who aren't terribly good at projecting in the RTZ, or whose minds are cluttered with delusions of grandeur or ill-intent, are not going to see you as-you-are anyway. If they are not well connected to your soul, they won't be able to get to you easily.

You say that you know a person who visits houses.  Is this person kind and honorable?  Then don't worry about him/her; he/she will behave properly if he/she encounters someone in a compromising position.  

Then again, if the person is a jerk, you can pretty much be assured that he/she is Full of Himself/Herself and can't actually do what he/she says anyway, not to any real effect at least. People like this talk big but can't produce results.

But if you're convinced you need to do something, once again I recommend learning how to use Wards.

Ummmmmmm, pardon me for being impertinent, but . . . are you trying to shield your activities from your boyfriend/girlfriend?  If so, lots of luck.  If your answer is yes, it might be better if from this point on you didn't date psychics.

Thank you for the useful information Tisha.  I do not see that person for the last two years, but she used to visit her own house really very very far away while being in the university campus, so her family was afraid of her I do not think she used this skill for naughty purposes, as you say people whose energy levels increase that much won't even attempt for those kind of things.  But there might be exceptions of course.
 The girl I loved with the true meaning in my life (last 2 months) is a naturally born pyschic.  She has not done anything to improve it.  She can hear what you think, see auras, etc.  She has not done astral projection however.  Even if she could do OBE I would not be annoyed by her presence.  I wrote about her because her abilities inspired me and changed my life.  I know we have a strong relationship in our karma.  You too do not be afraid to date with people who have those kind of traits like you do.  It is actually lots of fun and harmony.

In one OBE I tried to go into my neighbors house.  It wasn't because I wanted to see them naked its because I live in a street with very few houses and Im so used to lucid dreams where I didnt think privacy was an issue.  It was just "what to do" I'll go into that house.

I was pushed out of the house by someone.. it was a lesson to me to stay out of people's houses.  Again I wasn't doing it to be a peeping Tom.. it was just a hard habit to break since it was fun to do during dreams.

So I think if you make it clear you wont have people in your superconscious will most likely keep them out.

But on the other hand I personally cant imagine a person wasting a good OBE on watching me sitting around or whatever.  Its really not all that fun..

Face it.  To spiritual realm your life is a open book.  They can look at you and tell if your anger or sad or scared or if you are enlightened or whatever.  It is said your guides are with you all the time.  They know everything about you.  If you are skilled enough projector you can go into almost anyones house.  Sure there are people skilled enough to keep you out as well.  When out of body you cant hide what you truly are to those who are looking.  Now usually the ones that are skilled enough they have no intrest in real time zone.  When there is limitless places to go and learn why stick around my bedroom or house.  SO just think that you live in a glass house with glass walls.

I think there is natural barrier that prevents these sorts of things from happening, at least a general rule.  Like someboday already mentioned, it is very difficult to stay in the real time zone while prjecting.  Hey, it's tough to project, period!  Anyway, so even if someone projects, they have to be pretty advanced to stay in the real time zone and, face it, most advanced projectors are not the kind of beings that want to go around checking out people taking showers and making love.

It's the same concept with the sexual drive.  People who don't have the self control to control these kinds of urges are not usually the kind of people with the mental and spiritual capacity to project.

I guess the bottom line is: don't worry about it.

Besides, there's always the astral police out there to take care of these kinds of issues...[]

Another thing:  When in an OBE state, you go wherever your mind takes you.  Whatever you care about, whatever you're thinking about, that's where you go.  So the odds of a stranger just wandering by are pretty low.  You're more likely to be visited by close friends, lovers, or family members (alive or deceased).

Sometimes, before I OBE I think I want to go someplace (for instance, visit my boyfriend who lives 350 miles away), but when I get to the OBE state I don't feel like visiting him at all, so I don't.  I don't tell him this, I think it might hurt his feelings to know.  But my mind is filled with SO many other things that have nothing to do with the people of this world.

Anyway, my point is, if you are closely bound to something and they think about you a lot and can OBE at will, I'd be willing to place a bet that no amaturish ward or magic cirlce will hold them back, unless it's done by a powerful magician, which most of us are not.  That's just my opinion!

Moral of the story:  Always be honorable in your thoughts and actions, whether people are watching you or not, because you NEVER KNOW.

Yes Tisha, that was exactly my point.  There is curiousity in people and people whom I know may visit me in their OBEs.  My inconvinience is not because I am doing bad things at home, but because I like my privacy and most of the time I am on my own alone reading spritual books, relaxing, meditating, exercising,etc.  To be honest it would be a real shame for me if they see me mast.rbating, for example.  It is just a bad feeling you know.  As another example, I am thinking seriously to visit my ex-girlfriend, to see if she is fine and of course because I miss her.  I do not like to disturb her privacy however, I may find her in a bad position who knows  I am planning to do this for purely good intentions, to see how she looks.  Her life is her life, period.  So another person may think the same things for me and then come up and see me in different positions than their expectations.  It is just that feeling that annoys me about that subject.  If there is really a way to prevent it, it would be really better.

For the sake of privacy, it is crucial to know, if there is a way, to prevent other OBEers get in your house and watch you.  Has anyone thought about it?  I would be very glad if Mr. Bruce made a comment on this.  It is really annoying to know that somebody may be watching you while you are having sex, having shower or whatever you are doing in privacy.
