hey everybody. i have been taking a break from astral projection for a while. however, i had two experiences last night. i met this friend (here in physical reality) we are best friends now. she is great! she is into astral projection and all of this. i told her if i got out of body i would visit her and we could compare notes etc. well i had two obe's this morning. one of them at about 10:00am. once i was out of body i asked my higher self... "higher self, please take me to (friends name) in real time physical reality. i saw her in bed. (she was not sleeping at this time) i went over and tapped her and she looked freaked out. she got up out of bed and went somewhere and i ended up looking around. she came back and i asked her if she could please take me back to my house. I meant to ask my higher self but i miust have been so sluggish i asked her. she looked at me weird and then i started laughing because i realize what i asked. then i was floated back and i woke back in my bed. i texted her.. and compared notes. things i saw in the room... i was so off it wasn't even funny. next astral projecton i did the same. i was more detailed in saying "take me to (friends name) in physical realty in real time.... this time i saw her at a building looking out the window waiting in line for what looked to be a knife. i tapped her, and she didn't notice. she looked around though like "what was that? oh well.." then i sent her reiki energy and i said "higher self please take me back to my room now" well it wasn't my room where i was taken but i woke up back here anyway. i compared notes and she was at home making lunch.

what happened here? have any of you experienced this? i know we are multi deminsional so maybe i was interacting with another part of her in different worlds or something?

regardless, it was cool! i just dont understand... people say how easy it is to visit a friend and it isn't lol. i also made sure i was not distracted upon being taken there. i silence my mind and let my higher self take me to my destination so i am at loss.

Maybe you were interacting with her astral or etheric component and she wasn't otherwise aware of you. That is common. Interaction through different consciousnesses doesn't guarantee memorable hits. It gets distorted in several ways.

escape, i was thinking that too. between that and reality fluctuations and the dream mind etc... i suppose it can get hectic

Brother, I'm with you. These experiences can be complicated things to figure out.

Its funny phase, it seems we are all good at different aspects of OBE, I've never pulled off what you did here, not got that level of cooperation from a guide if that's what it was. It's a very imperfect process...lol

This is because we all "see' what we need to "see". We all "experience" what we need to "experience". It's a part of growing and evolving!  

When push comes to shove, our "conscious" intent is no match for our "sub conscious" one!

escsape- i hear you! lol i loved the experience but when i came back here im i am going wait what?   then some astral projections i have had confirmations. i'm not looking for confirmations too much these days this was just for fun. it is cool though i learned how to instantly go places by asking my higher self. feels like giant hands grabbing me and tossing me around the universe

That's an interesting perspective Lion, but I can't disagree: EVERY out of body experience is somehow a lesson, with a conscious, directive force behind it, guiding our individual evolution. Whether its our higher self or someone else, thats just becoming plainly apparent to me.

i been having a lot of "coincidences" lately. but they aren't coincidences i have learned about a year ago. i see number combos daily now. i got feathers being left for me. i got people appearing into my life who are into all of this when past people i knew thought i was nuts... it's gettin crazy. in a cool way. my parents never believed any of this and i was very lost. i just wanted to be able to talk to them about this stuff. well now my mom got a divorce and married a guy with parents who astral project regularly. now its a conversation we have all the time. it was hard but i have gotten my whole family into this. they love reiki now and read OBE books... life plays out in the strangest ways it seems

That's great that you have people in your life that are into it.  Things have a way of turning around and working out, don't they?  I can't talk to anyone about it except my husband.  He's interested but not interested enough to try it himself.  His sleep is way to valuable to him.

I actually found this church near my house where AP is one of their main focuses.  I looked into it--thought maybe if it was an open inter-faith kind of thing I could go and meet some people, but no.  It was a very specific belief system with a head master that seemed like it could be a cult.  That's the last thing I need.  Oh well.  It does seem like there are more people in the world that AP than meets the eye.

I did your same experiment before but i did not leave my house when i left my body i was checking everything in the house and i saw my mom upstairs cleaning her room, after waking up i found my mom downstairs i told her what were you doing upstairs in you room she told me how did you known i was there so i told her i saw you in my projection but sadly she told me she was not cleaning her room, what i think after doing enough projections is that the real time zone is not exactly like the physical some details maybe missing but the big picture is there.
