While meditating I always seem to get INTENSE energy feelings. They disperse after a while but I keep trying. I am always finding myself falling asleep though after a while. Does anybody have a tip or two to help me stop falling asleep while meditating? Has this happened to you? That's why I always set an alarm now lol.

Don't meditate in bed. All your life you have trained yourself that your bed is for sleeping. Get up and try meditating in a comfortable chair.
Good Luck!  :-)

Thanks Lionheart!

This may sound silly but would the floor be okay? I will try a chair and prop it up.

I like a recliner.  My back doesn't like regular chairs.

I like to sit cross-legged on a pillow on the floor with my mid/lower back against the couch.

Hi,
Ive done it in a snow hole with a windchill of -18. Sleep was not an option.
Not my favourite by far....
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.
