Space Travel.

I'm wondering here, how many of you guys have actually traveled through space? Or like, gone exploring at one point. Better yet, have you encountered any intelligent life along your travels. I know for me, I have two goals. Chiefly, to speak with my recently deceased Mother, and to travel space. Mostly, just to see the sights.

Been to the moon, far into another galaxy with spirals, just recently was able to raise my consciousness to higher vibration level which took me to a futuristic city out in space... and much more..

I am going to start focusing my intent on visitng my grandmother that I never met on my moms side.. any ideas on whats the best way to go about this?

Setting a meaning is easier than life, space is an escape, filled with nothingness and everything else.

Hmmmm, I'll go along with that.  I've always maintained there is no "meaning" to life.

Therefore, without a meaning, what's left?  Enjoyment?  Experience?  Simply being? I'm not claiming I know, but am interested in your opinion.

I happen to be reconsidering my personal goals for what I believe would be the most important things to do the next time I find myself out 'n about.  

Thing is... sometimes,  between the daily struggles, there is a tiny place of peace where all is well with my soul and nothing else really matters.

how did this shift from space travel to the meaning of life???

there's many meanings to life IMO... evolution, family, growing, learning, dying... list is limitless, but if your asking "why are we here".. why aren't we else where on another planet? I do believe that there's life out there, but if there isn't - seems to me that its a awefull waste of space...:)

 I think it was about space travel and goals...meaning is all a part of it.  

Actually, I've been out in space once with a 'friend' who pointed out that dark matter could actually be 'mined' there to be used in high speed craft propulsion.  Told me other things which I can't remember.  

I'd like to have contact with my son who passed the day before he was supposed to be born.  I pacify myself with the idea he was using that as a worm hole or something to gain access to a plane where he could be of greater service to us.

I am able to astral project at will while wide awake.  Ever since I started having intentional OBE's, I have been in contact with my spiritual guides.  After reading Rosalind McKnight's book, "Cosmic Journeys", I decided to ask my spiritual guide to take me to a place where there was an intelligent civilization that was concerned for our planet's well-being and was watching over us.  I had read in the book that Rosalind McKnight, who was a laboratory subject at the Monroe Institute, was able to do this.  So, I gave it a try.  I felt a sensation of very fast travel or propulsion for a few seconds.  Then I felt a brief pause that lasted a few seconds.  Then I felt a sensation of fast travel again.  I didn't understand what the pausing meant, and then later I read on infinitebeing.com and also in one of Robert Monroe's books that when the soul travels at really far distances, it must stop to re-astral project.  This is felt as a brief pausing sensation.  The soul may need to pause more than once depending on how far it travels.  I only paused once.  Then I was aboard a spaceship.  It was way too realistic for me to be imagining this, and I was wide awake.  My thinking ability was in the part of me (my soul) that was in the spaceship and not in my physical body.  It was as if I forgot about my physical body altogether.  There was a being there, the captain of the spaceship.  He couldn't see me, because my soul was in a higher dimension, and I later found out that he was in the physical dimension, the same as the Earth dimension.  but I believe he could sense I was there, because he seemed defensive and asked why I was there and who I was.  I think we were communicating through mental telepathy.  I told him that I was from Earth and meant no harm and that I had asked my spiritual guide to take me to a spaceship of a civilization that was watching over the Earth and was concerned about its well-being.  He seemed alright after that.  I then asked him how far away from the Earth we were.  He said about 2 million Earth miles.  I asked which galaxy he was from, and he said the Milky Way.  I asked if he was watching over us to protect us, and he said yes.  I asked if other civilizations exist that are watching the Earth but are not so concerned about our well-being, and he said yes.  I asked how the spaceship was powered.  He said it was powered by condensed light, like a laser but very condensed.  He had a weird looking bluish gray film like suit all over his body including his face, and it covered what seemed to be a helmet of some sort.  I asked why he needed the film type suit, and he said to protect himself from radiation.  I remember seeing a bunch of little lights of red, blue, white, etc.  pulsating and blinking from the control panel.  There was a large window that extended around that whole portion of the spaceship that I was in.  After that, I told him that I was leaving, and he invited me back, but I haven't returned yet.  I want to think up some good questions before I return.  Again, I wasn't asleep while this happened, and my imagination isn't this good for me to have imagined all of this.  The sensations of fast travel and pausing that I felt were real as well.

How do you know or not your grandmother is in the astral reality? She might be in heaven...

Yes, I do relax, but I admit, I don't relax for too long, usually for only about 10 minutes or so.  When I mentioned that I am wide awake, I was referring to the fact that when I have OBE's, I don't fall asleep.  I am wide awake. I lie down on my bed.  I politely tell my soul to get out of my body.  I stay awake during the whole thing.  I never fall asleep.  I've tried falling asleep after initiating an OBE, but I start feeling too much energy, and I can't fall asleep.  I have a sister who initiates them and then falls asleep to have them.

Any ideas as to why we happen to see uniforms and particular body shapes?  Are these 3D bodies the product of our own needs to perceive them uniquely?  Do we generate uniforms and figures for these entities or are the uniforms and figures projections of how they want to be viewed?  I do see commonalities with others reports but also wonder if we may unconsciously accumulate ideas of features like "grey" or the "large slanted eyes" as sort of a collective personae to be expected...

The bluish suit covered the body, face, and helmet completely except for the eyes, so I couldn't see the color of the "skin" nor facial features.  The eyes looked normal size, not big and slanted.  The eyes looked like ours to me.  The bluish suit was more of a soft powder blue color.  

I will try to go out of body and visit this being again.

The only occasion I made an effort to fly through space was when I was projecting at night and the full moon looked glorious. I decided to fly towards it, but I never seemed to be getting closer, so I kept picking up speed - flying as fast as I could. Finally, getting restless, I decided to 'teleport' to it (from Monroes books, closing ones eyes and having the intention of a place and just moving there), this resulted to me being in a strange environment. I was in an orange and red place, with 3 dimensional bands of these colours all around me. I had the idea that I might be inside some form of rock? (perhaps I had projected into the mass of the moon instead of onto its surface?)
