ive had projections while laying on my stomache before as well. Everytime it has happened i felt my double turning inside my body so that it is facing up, and only then would the separation happen.

It has happened to me once, too. I think that spontanous OBE can happen in almost any kind of position. I've had spontanous OBE's laying on the side. Although those seem to be short lived, and I've had very little control and the vision is poor. but the stomach one was very good.

i agree furix, my vision when i was on my stomach was pretty good and i have had spontaneous projections while on my side and my vision is not quite as good.... when you have those spontaneous projections are you able to convert them to completely conscious projections?

fredhedd

i find that it's easier for me to breathe on my stomach but my neck doesn't get as comfortable.   i've never had a projection from my stomach but it feels as though it would be very easy if i could get relaxed enough.

sublime, what would the difference be between a spontaneous projection and  a conscious one?   i thought if you realized that you were out, you were conscious.

sublime

well I guess you're right but they all seem to be so short when they're spontaneous and I have such little control over that fact. I do realize that I'm partially conscious during the spontaneous obe but I have little control over how long I'm out/what I can do. I guess in time they will get better... by the way it seems just waiting for spontaneous obes seems to work better than trying to induce them because i dont have much luck with that [:(]

a technique that works for me when i have little control, and poor vision is to demand control by saying with authority "control now"; for poor vision say "clarity now".

Yes I saw my clear blue projected double (but a mans shape)roll left then right and roll out of my (female) body and I ended up floating on the ceiling for a moment and thought is was so great to be where I was then I woke up. I guess my soul prefers a male astral body?!

Kind Regards, Robin

Umm, sorry to interrupt and everything...but how often do these things occur for you people?

sublime

Squeek, if you're referring to spontaneous oobe's....

I used to have them all the time as a child but just thought they were nightmares and I feared sleeping on my back... I went through a period of time in early high school that I drank a lot and smoked pot and I dont ever recall the spontaneous projections during that time.. now i'm in college and i went straight edge and they are coming back (the projections) (mainly when i'm at home not in the dorm with my roommate there). HOpe that answered your question.

Um, so...like ...how would you know when you've had one or not?  Although im rather certain I have yet to achieve it because i always fall asleep when I try...erg.

And im in  Junior year in my High School....just FYI.  And i don't smoke or drink or junk like that.

Is lying on your stomach different from your normal position?
A few times I slept with my feet at the other end, and as I was waking up I was in my normal position, started to move and *snap I was back in my body's feet first position :)  A lost opportunity, but it could be taken advantage of.

      - the reason i know i've had one is because i'll actually be in my real time body which will be floating around either my physical body or actually in other locations (see my other post). anyways, it's usually only for a short period of time but i can definitely tell it's not a dream because i'm able to do conscious things like move my Real time arm and i can consciously say where i want to "float" to. oh and i have never actually had a projection when i TRIED to have one... i get the sensations... (rapid heart beat) (vibrations to an extent) but i'm not able to make the split..

Person...

The reason i added this post is because i thought it was awkward that i was lying on my stomach and had a spontaneous projection because up until then i thought that they only occured (projections in general) with your chest facing up. that's interesting what you said about you sleeping with your feet on the other end and then waking up in a normal position. a little confusing though, are you saying that when you woke up you woke up in your real time body as it was coming back to your physical body, or am i way off?

sublime

The other night, I experienced another spontaneous projection yet I was laying on my stomach. It occurred just as I started to fall asleep and it was very short... the main thing i remember is that my (real-time) body was facing down just like my sleeping physical body. I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone?
