The Traditional OBE

I have had 9 since September 03.  The first one was after reading the on-line book by Robert Peterson.  It was Afterwords that I found out what a traditional OBE was.  Mine are pretty run-o-the mill OBEs. Nothing really that I haven't read about somewhere else(mostly after having the experience).

I'm currently in a slump going on 3 months[].  I'm kind of confused about that.  I would like to know if anybody else out there that has frequent OBEs goes through slumps?  Or are they consistent?

Yes, out of about 70 projections only 2 of them were an OBE in an environment identical to the physical.  But I almost always roll out and get stuck sometimes if that counts.  The majority of my experiences seem to be in the astral realms.

I don't know if I understood your question right. and I'm not really good at definitions...eww..
but here I go :
About 200 none conciously willed for 2 years almost everyday that led me to psychiatrist thereapy because i thoughtI was going insane, and had no info on what's going on.They were mostly very strong paralisys + hearing bad things and seeing bad things. Some lasted very short but otheres would go on for hours. Some would also happen in odd places like while riding a public bus.A little horror;) (psyhiatrists ofcourse didn't know anything about obe either).
About a 100 unconciously willed where I ended up in an enviroment god-knows where, and often got stuck there.
And lately about 10, maybe 8 conciously willled with floating in the identical, or very similar enviroment to the one where I left my body, mostly turning into sex oriented obe, so not very spiritual;)
So it's been a long and rocky road but something is finally clearing up;))

Over the course of my life (I'm 37) put me down for 35-50 confirmed.  And like everyone else who knows how many hundreds that I can't be sure about.

Hi there Ladies & Gents !

I'm just curious... how many members have had a "traditional" OBE experience ? If the answer is NO, please respond....so I can get a rough idea of the ratio of "Yay" to "Nay" (not you, Nay []) amongst members.

I'm not talking "astral realms" here.....By "traditional" I mean floating, rolling or sinking out of your body ....and finding yourself in an environment identical to, or very similar, to the one where you left your body (!).

This could be a fully concious projection, or you may have woken up to find yourself floating out of your body. Also, if you began to float out, but didn't quite make it / got stuck, I'd count that as a definite "yes" for these purposes.

OK....I'll start. The answer is "Yes" - between 10 and 15 occasions where I've woken up to find myself leaving my physical body....None conciously willed.
