Trouble getting out, have vibrations, then fear.....

Hello All

I have had few OBE (or thats what i think) and now I can regularly get to the vibrations state but lose it then.

I have been reading about astral projection from long back, but never had an OBE kind of experience, then about a year back one night I woke up to vibrations , these incidents kept on happening and I began to realize that this must be the natural OBE that happens during sleep, its just that I am becoming aware in between.

During the first few incidents I had vibrations then an ooosh kind of dull sound and a feeling of expansion. My vision during these sessions were very poor and i had major problem orientating (still have). Then the sessions stopped.

Now whenever I want I can get those vibrations by thinking about them when I wake up early in the morning, it goes like this...
I wake up early in the morning, then slowly drift back to sleep...suddenly will become aware of the vibrations from top to bottom, very strong one, I think at this point I become too excited (that I am having an OBE) I immediately want to start looking around but that doesn't happen, at times I have just left myself but some how I get fear and excitement and loose the vibrations.

I have this strange feeling of fear when this happens, I am afraid of the night when I wake up like this....I do not understand this compeletly...

Can someone help point me to things I should be doing and not doing and when....anything

I do not understand this process completely but I want to ....

Your in the right state for OBE. It takes a long time to get over that fear.    
   I had spontaneous ones like that when I started and I still have the same fear that your talking about. The trick is to keep on struggling and fighting with your fear.
  Every time you get into the vibration state reassure yourself with everything you have learned about OBE. Once you pop out of your body the fear should dispel immediately. Just tell yourself to stay calm. Don't try and fight to get out of your body. Just relax and feel yourself slipping away. Don't tense your mind, just let the projection reflex do all the work.   All you have to do is stay calm no matter what.
