My first aware experience

I have now had my first aware experience - short but aware
I wanted to sleep a little longer after a full nights sleep, and as I was falling aspleep I said to myself that "I'm aware in my dreams"
Then I found myself walking down the corridor away from my bedroom, and I stopped and looked down the corridor with a strange feeling, because I did not remember getting out of bed.
I looked at the other end of the corridor thinking something was not right, and it felt like the corridor was a little different than normal. Then I remember thinking "Can this be...". And I reached out for the wall, and my hand went into the wall, and I could feel some tickle sensation on the hand.
Then I decided to go through the wall, and as I entered the wall I suddenly couldn't move, and a moment later I found myself back in my body in trance.
The whole experience lastet about 10-15 seconds.

I know this is a little step but still progress...

Congratulations, you broke the first barrier. A few seconds longer than most too. First thing in the morning too. Was you trying this time or did it just happen?
Can you remember the 'feel' of being in this different but familiar place? The ambience is different to the waking state and worth remembering, trying to reach it again in your next attempt is only a thought away.
The wall would be a little confusing too, how often do you walk through them? Lol. Keep the thought of simply going through with whats on the other side in mind, then its a piece of cake. It's a reason why being in a familiar safe place helps in the early stages, you know what to expect and this knowledge fixes you to the same location.
You'll get more like this soon I hope.
Well done. :-D

You did really good. Just gaining your awareness and not instantly losing it due to excitement is an important step. There is nothing instant about 10-15 seconds so be happy about that.

Like Szaxx said, we aren't used to walking through walls everyday so that takes some time. I can never see through walls and when I pass through them, I always lose my vision because I expect it to be dark inside of a wall. This is just because of my expectations as many people choose to just make the wall go away.

I do believe there is something far more incredible occurring than the simplest explanation that we are just controlling our dreams but if that's all that is happening, I'm fine with that as well.  :-)
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

Thanks :-D

@Szaxx: I only used used the "Im aware in my dreams" programming of the subconsious before drifting off to sleep.

In this experience I got visual data from the physical, but in the longest experience I had as a child lasted at least 5 minutes and maybe 10 and that was with full awareness all the way and the environment was the greyish world, that I think people in this forum calls "The lower astral plane".

@Szaxx: What do you say about "we are just controlling our dreams"? - That sounds very unlikely with the things you do in the wider reality.

Szaxx

The programming obviously works, keep it up.
The greyish colour I've not really experienced. It may be you were not fully phased with the environment. Try demanding 'clarity now!', that usually helps in most cases. As a child I was in my local NP version of where I lived very often. Things seen matched the physical world perfectly. These were in colour during daylight hours and at night I could see what I wanted to even though it was much darker. The black of night in the physical wasn't there. Some kind of light was and I can't remember seeing colours that well too. Perhaps you went into a physically dark place and experienced the same thing too.
Although it may seem a possibility, there's far more to it than what's generally accepted.
If you were to have a full awareness clairvoyant dream the dream control question becomes moot. The things seen and the emotions you feel are replicated in the physical shortly in the future, after the dream. Every detail is exact. That makes the 'it's all in your mind' people look again. Some can't accept the truth, or perhaps they don't want to. They may have been bad and hate the thought of repercussions later on should it be a reality.
