crossing OBE

Had a "Not Planned" OBE last night and ended up in some women's bed room while she was having an OBE. She thought I was her spirit guide.  I was pulled to her by the sound of a music box on her night stand. this left me with questions I hope someone can answer.
My questions are:
Can this happen or is this something other than an OBE?
What's the best way to prevent from getting lost and not finding your way back to your body?

Practiced Shamanism for 13 years.
meditation for 30 years.

You had an OBE and that Has happened to me. During many of my OBEs I have seen people who were undoubtedly also out of body. Nobody has ever mistaken me for a spirit guide though .
Getting lost is standard operating procedure for me as I often end up in unfamiliar nonphysical locations. Regards not being able to get back to the physical body  -- that is usually the easy part for most people. Getting out and staying out of body is much harder.
