Will intensity is the key to projections.

This is what I have found based upon my experiences. This may or may not be agreeable by others.

Keeping a short distance is the secret to avoid a loss of objectivity in your projections. The farther you travel from your physical body, the more dreamlike images that enter into your projection experience.

What I like to do is this: When I start seeing discrepancies show up in the real time zone, I immediately travel back to my physical body and end the projection. This takes a lot of will power to do. This is the only way to avoid the subjective fantasy trap that tries to lure us into.

At the moment there are quite a few validations from individual projectionists. There are also some experiments that have been done to show that there is indeed objectivity in short projections. These can be found in Waldo Vieria's "Projectiology" book. His IAC center has also performed quite a few experiments. Some of these are performed in his country of Brazil. Email his center if you want more information on the research.

The point I am trying to make is use your will intensity to avoid these dreamlike images. A quote from "Isis Unveiled": "As God creates, so man can create. Given a certain intensity of will, and the shapes created by the mind become subjective. Hallucinations they are called, although to their creator they are real as any visible object is to any one else. Given a more intense and intelligent concentration of this will, and the forms become concrete, visible, objective; the man has learned the secret of secrets; he is a Magician."

I believe being passive in your projection attempts leads to a loss of focus which leads to daydreaming within a projection. Don't always assume what you see is reality. Keeping your will intensity strong at all times is the only thing that matters. Daydreaming in the physical world occurs because you lose focus. The same exact thing happens in out of body experiences if you lose your focus and will.

Will and desire are the higher and lower aspects of one and the same thing. So I always focus on the will instead of desire since will is a higher aspect.

Good post! Over the years I've brought up the topic of "will" a good bit, along with "thinking" and "feeling". Steiner felt developing these three things were of utmost importance in perceiving the non-physical in a correct manner, less-likely of falling into illusion. He wrote volumes about these things and developed a number of exercises to strengthen each... the only thing is, they are more indirect exercises that aren't necessarily fun or have anything to do with AP, but they help immensely with concentration and perception during an experience. And in daily life as well. :)

Thanks. Steiner and other classic authors have always inspired me due to their conviction and will. The modern authors lack this conviction and will. I have always wondered if this modern fast paced society of wanting quick results for everything is causing this loss of will. OBE's are no different than anything else in life. You get what you put into it. Twelve years ago, I made a commitment to OBE's and made them my top priority in life.
