How can you tell if you are having an OBE?

I am new here to the forums so... hi!  :-D

My interest in astral projection started when I heard my friends astral project.  It sounded like fun and, nice opportunity for new experiences.  So I spent months looking up methods to achieve an OBE.  I've tried binaural beats, some different exit methods and meditation.  I always feel so close.

But was I close?  I thought I could feel my astral body moving.  Sometimes I was it was just one arm up, sometimes I was all the way across the room! However, I was unable to disconnect my senses from my physical body.  I was only able to feel things with my astral body and, I could still feel from my physical body.

Am I not having an OBE after all? :?

You can be in many places simultaneously with this art mastered. As a beginner two self awareness locations are very common. What you need to do is switch off the physical location sense and concentrate on the non physical one.
This may take a little bit of learning as its thought controlled and being latched to the physical body all your life is a hard concept to break.
It can be done.

Thanks for the info!  :-D
But the question now is-where in my mind is the switch?  :-o
Guess only time will tell!

Nah, the clue was in the reply.
It's all thought based.
Thinking of the distant location only and NOT thinking about the sleeping body is all it takes. Don't think of 'whatever' and 'whatever' doesn't come about.
This 'whatever' could be fear too, that's valid advice.
