What do you all think of the photon belt theory?

That is a site that pretty much lists all the ways we can die, and we basically can't do a damn about it.  Except the site seems down sorta at the moment.  But, to add to the list of ways we can die...

Gamma Burst
The supersuper nova thing (that might be the gamma burst)
Meteor strike
Supervolcano (The entire park of Yellowstone is one big supervolcano that is 40,000 years overdue to blow... it'll be like 1000 mt st helens going off at once or something like that)
Megatsunami (this won't end the world, but will do a truckload of damage)
Methan Bursts.... huge bubbles of methan trapped under the oceans... when those burst.... ack.
And more I'm probably not thinking of right now.
There is no spoon

Yep you forgot some:
Mass plate shift (superearthquake/volcanoes),
Pole shift,
Asteroid/comet strike,
Icecaps melting,
Mankind and wmd,
Me going crazy,
etc.
I come prepared...with COOKIES! No, you can't have one!

I think the whole photon belt stuff is a load of tripe. we're being bombarded with vast amounts of photons everyday from our own sun. How can a belt of photons alter our density level?
Im sorry but my belief is 'ascension' occurs when each individual is ready.

The Hopi thing sounds like an eschatological story to me.  How does it relate to science?

In the name of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

I've been reading alot about this subject & have found very little hard evidence to back it up (which wouldn't suprise me if it were to be true cuz I don't think the gov WOULD want anyone knowing about it). But any ways I would like to know what or if anyone here knows anything of value about it.
I personally have done a lot of resaerch about it & have found that one possibility is that it is cause by what is scientifically know as a gamma ray burst. These are know to happen in the center of gaxaies of our type.
The Hopi elders sit down in a circle. One at a time they tell the history of the tribe. After each telling, the other elders make comments and corrections. When they are all done, they are in agreement. This has proven to be an effective way to record the vast Hopi indian history. The history tells of three worlds that came before this one. Each one older than the previous. Each ended when the blue star appeared. These indians say the blue star is about to appear again.
Based on the dust that lies between our solar system and the center of the galaxy, an active galactic nuclei would appear as a blue star.

Three years ago, scientists in Germany reported high concentrations of iron-60 in two layers of ocean rock, dated at about 0-3 and 4-6 million years old2. Iron-60 is a rare form produced on Earth by nuclear reactions involving cosmic rays (X rays, gamma rays, etc), such as those that supernovae generate (a supernova is like a firecracker compared to a gamma ray burst). This could just as easily been cuased by another gamma ray bust though.

Some 440 million years ago, a nearby gamma-ray burst may have extinguished much of life on Earth, say US astronomers1.

Adrian Melott, of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, and colleagues reckon that the fossil record of the end of the Ordovician period fits with how such a cosmic explosion a few thousand light years away could have altered the environment. At that time, more than 100 families of marine invertebrates died out; it was the second most devastating mass extinction in our planet's history

If you agree with the evidence found in the ice cores, that our galaxy experiences active galactic nuclei every 10,000 years or so, then something is definitely coming. Our solar system is 26,000 light years from the galactic center. If our galactic center goes active every 10,000 years and the gamma and X rays travel at the speed of light, there are at least two sets of super waves heading this way.

There's some of the info I've dug up on this subject, I would like to hear from other that have any thoughts or information on the subject. thanks.
Peace.
